@@LodvarDude no idea who that is. Just a older guy that played since release until 2016 then left except for a few weeks here and there. Just really enjoy her character and animations. Definitely it a WOW historian.
First one is to bait you into buying expansion. The others are for those who already paid. They did exactly same in D4. There are 2 cinematics and they were both used as a "trailer" and promo material. The rest are just in game engine knock offs. There were times you were buying Blizzard products just for cinematics. Times long gone with the rest of their qualities.
Outside of trailers, WoW in game graphics design along with cut scenes are cartoony and was intended to be. This was due to every other mmorpg trhing to look realistic. The devs even said this in a interview. And this was from the kaunch of WoW back in 2004 @CostelloDamian

lol how does blizzard go from great cinematic quality to trash that looks like it was made 15 years ago in vanilla and then jump back to great quality again. LOLOL such a trash company
The only good thing about SL lore is that it finally did away with Sylvanas, artificially overpowered character, whose power in game was going astronomically high not thanks to a well written plot, but by a vocal minority of her cult fan base. Total crap of a character in comparison to Arthas or Grom Hellscream for example. Although her initial lore was admirable after death of Arthas, blizzard kept inflating her powers with only explanation being a vocal fan base.
