Dude. I absolutely love your reviews. You always add some interesting information and I like hearing your opinion. You always seem to make an insightful comment that allows me to hear things in a new way. I always enjoy hearing what other people think of the songs. Please reconsider and do more reviews. I would love a review of some of KISS's VHS collections. As a kid I would watch my KISS VHS tapes over and over again.
Don’t stop doing your reviews!! I love your channel and appreciate your honesty. I like that you don’t bullshit about how you feel about what you’re reviewing. If people get that upset over you disliking something they like, maybe they shouldn’t watch you or anyone else!!
Please keep doing reviews dude! I enjoy your reviews. You throw in info that I might not have known too! Don’t cave to a few negative comments! Great review if this album too! I still listen to Ashes, Love Kills, that Time of Year and Break Out a lot.
I, like many peoples comments before mine, love your reviews!!!!!!! Ignore the haters who will always find a way to complain. If you enjoy doing reviews as much as we enjoy watching them, then do them, and ignore the negative BS from those who are basically just unhappy with themselves, so they rag on people strong enough to put themselves out there!!!! We'll done as always!!!!! Thanks for your thoughts!!!
Your reviews on the KISS albums are what made me a subscriber. They are thoughtful and intelligent and are a great mix of breaking things down musically and gut feelings. Please don’t change your style. I would love to hear more!
Nice review, it's a shame you're not going to do reviews anymore but it's up to you, so I respect your decision. I would love to see more videos like that hide your heart video though, I really liked that one
I like your reviews very much, agree with some and have a different opinion on others. I like this album mostly and have been listening to it recently. I agree about cutting the song Love Kills . I understand cutting it for radio or video versions but don't know why they would cut it up on the CD.
What’s the point of a review? Good or bad we learn your opinion. To me it’s how it’s delivered. You tell me if it has a hook, if it has a good solo or if it’s just meh without sounding demeaning to the artist. That works for me. I Hope you keep doing them.
Hello.....I would keep doing the reviews. They are very informative and interesting. I know all these records pretty well, but the reviews always provide more information. I find all the reviews fun, whether I agree with them or not. Example: I love the 1978 Peter Criss album (yes, it's a total guilty pleasure).
Please tell me you're not really serious about stopping reviews. Why? Because some tool whined about it? Keep it up and never change what you enjoy. Stay true. Excellent channel btw
Please don’t pay attention to negative push back… I enjoy how articulate your reviews are. I don’t take things so serious if I don’t agree with your opinion on a song. Everyone likes different things about albums
I dig your channel and your reviews regardless if I agree with them or not. I did enjoy both VVI albums. The first one to me, seemed more raw than the second, which seemed more polished and tamed. Both albums were great in my humble opinion however, I prefer the first record to the second. Keep up the great work my friend. Your channel is solid.
I bought this when it came out. I bought anything related to KISS at the time. But after hearing bits of it here on your review I can honestly say that I don't know if I ever played it. I'll have to go back and listen to it I'm intrigued now after watching your review. As always great video
Rest assured, even if some overly sensitive viewers may not appreciate your reviews, there are others who do enjoy them a lot. There is a balance to reviewing that rests on common sense; it is possible to be honest and uncompromising without being rude. I like your reviews quite a bit and never felt any of them were out of order. Terrific stuff, please keep ´em coming!
Man don’t stop your reviews because a couple of tools say negative things. As you can see the majority enjoy what you have to say. I love your honesty on how you feel. Now about this album loved it back when it came out. Still like Ashes to Ashes, Love Kills, and Breakout the rest not so much. Slaughters voice is way easier to listen to than Robert on the first one
Please Don't Stop Doing Reviews !! I love everything you do , Sean . The History oriented Videos you created , like Hide Your Heart are Amazing. But I also enjoy your Reviews So much. But I guess I understand your point of no longer having the interest to continue with Reviews. Those are definitely what drew me to your Channel at first , though. Ok , I hope you're doing well and staying safe , Dude. 🎸
You gotta do you, man. But, honestly -don't stop doing reviews. I'm smart enough to click off or not watch a review if I don't want to hear it. I don't have to agree with every review I hear. I hope you reconsider
Why stop reviewing? I disagree with loads of your reviews, so what? You are honest but never nasty or spiteful just honest from a place of passion. Please don't stop.
If you enjoy doing reviews then keep doing them. If its become a head fuck for you, maybe stop for a time. The odds of a featured artist seeing them and being personally offended are pretty minimal unless its a really huge popular channel, and then its a really huge popular channel. 'Naughty Naughty' for sure lifts the hook off of 'My Sharona'.
Judging by the face on the thumbnail im guessing the assessment is...it's poor.🤣 I thought it was too slick even for the time. I do like the over the top Ashes to Ashes that opens the album.
I bought this when it came out, I thought Mark Slaughter had a unique voice and there were some cool riffs, but the lead guitar was just too much over the top for me.
Your reviews suck. Just kidding. I read through all the comments and couldn't a negative one about your reviews, so I had to toss that in there. Seriously, tho. this was an excellent review. I've listened to this album since I was 12 when it first came out. I agree with most of what you said. it's a real shame Vinnie is hard to get along with because he has the most amazing natural talent on the guitar...and his song writing ain't too bad, either.
