Capaldi's works twofold, both as the Doctor finally getting to play the shock himself after all these years and Capaldi himself as a lifelong fan getting to say the line.
Missed a couple of golden responses. Sergeant Benton's, "Well, that's obvious, isn't it?" and Bill's "Is this a knock-through?" because the Doctor had the TARDIS parked right up against a wall and it's actually some considerable time and a trip later that she realises it is bigger on the inside (prompting a relieved handshake from the Doctor and Nardole).
@@bostonrailfan2427 it's the fault of the creators too, like who in their right minds thought that 3 studios writing the script is a good idea? It's like The Last Jedi but worse.Such a shame,I see so many potential on the story & characters (partly because I'm not interested with his audio dramas)
@@nadiahapsari3359 producer has a different meaning in the US, they’re showrunners in the US. US producers are not directly involved in production like the BBC producers, but the showrunners are. unless i’m mistaken, the producers simply paid for the production but with it mot getting ratings the US producer(s) pulled out leaving the BBC to foot the bill entirely with another US network airing it. no money from the US meant no money for the show meant mo show
I love Wilf “I thought it’d be cleaner” 😂 And of course the Doctor’s sarcasm when it was Martha’s turn is still funny. As for the 12th Doctor pretending to go in for the first time… 😂 You missed the “finally” and “my turn”.
You forgot when the 1st doctor and the captain enter the 12th doctor's TARDIS and when the 12th doctor, Bill, and the captain enter the 1st doctor's TARDIS in Twice Upon A Time
0:07 that shot of Ian coming in with Susan in the background is FUCKING WILD the shot before with Barbara might make people think "what's going on", but that shot with Susan in the background revealed that this WHOLE THING is the police box outside just imagine watching this in 1963 no wonder this show became such a hit
The doors outside were probably just an illusion for the exterior. Later on the Tardis probably decided the illusion wasn't worth it and just made them matching.
I wish I had my real TARDIS like the Doctor who it stands for Time and relative dimension in space Doctor your TV show was fantastic absolutely fantastic
That's true, but I think they played around with the phrase a bit in a few episodes... I seem to remember this from 'Resolution' "The internal dimensions are much larger than the external dimensions. No biggie!" "Actually. I think that is a bit of a biggie..." Might've got the dialogue a bit wrong, but it definitely went something along those lines.
That was Vicki saying it to Steven Taylor when he entered the TARDIS for the first time in, I think, The Chase. So it wasn't her saying it on her first entry to the TARDIS (in The Rescue, which you see a few seconds earlier), whilst Clara did.
I'm still hoping for one companion that won't stop on the obvious statement, but will actually start asking and questioning: "so... if I started poking holes from the door, along the wall... where would they be appearing on the outside? if at all...? or would I be making peepholes into the dimension where its inside is? WHAT IS ACTUALLY ON THE OUTSIDE, in the dimension where tardis' inside resides in? and if I started poking holes from the outside, along the walls, if this second option is the case, what would I see through them on the inside of its 'normal dimension' inside?" i mean... Doctor always claims he's trying to pick smart companions, doesn't he? oh, sorry, not he, it, since it's obviously genderless now, according to canon. also I just remembered that apparently the show was canceled, I think? ah, a bit of a shame.
