The 2020 Moustache Xroad is a very popular bike in the shop and it's really sharp! It can handle on-road and off-road like a champ and it gets lots of great upgrades for this year! There are many different options at different price points and I think Moustache did a great job with this bike.

So wanted a Moustache X road after purchasing our Moustache Trekking x2 tandem, (didn’t want to get winter road salt on our shiny tandem) but as we always have to buy 2 ( his and hers) the cost was just too much, so we ended up with Cube acid one hybrids and fitted mudguards, same motor etc, but nowhere near as nice quality and thought as the x road. I do fancy putting x road bars on the tandem though. Great informative video as usual, enjoyed the ones you did round Amsterdam and New York too. Might make it to California one day for a ride round.

The 2021 Samedi Xroad 7 now has a Nyon display and 85nm torque. Nice upgrade from the 2020 model

really good video, thanks i hope you keep reviewing interesting ebikes, some "other" channels mostly review ones that pay and not ones that are interesting. i like the bikes however the value is a bit not good. im looking into buying a Cube ebike and those things give you a lot for you money !

Are there sizes differences between pass-trough or diamond frame versions, which lead to difference of rider posture (by example handlebar height or distance from saddle) ?

I’m hoping I could do one. We have our first shipment of those arriving in January. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do a review before then, but definitely once we have them in. I’m very excited about that bike.

This model not my chose, but I like Moustache, normal price and a lot of chose. (I no like Performance Bosch and the tires , but I like the display) Good vlog again, tnx!

Beautiful bikes, and unlike R&M they are actually reasonably priced.

The quality of these bikes is not that of R&M ebikes. Moustache don't offer anything else than derailleur gearbox, absolutely No Nuvinci 380 or Rohloff Hub options. R&M bikes main parts are manufactured in Germany. The assembly too. Moustache bikes are 80% assembled in China... One can easily find a youtube video that shows that the french manufacture receives the bikes from china almost assembled. More than 4000 euros for a "derailleur" based bike made in China is quite expensive. Regards

The main body parts are made in Taiwan and assembly is completed in France

Question about the xroad 7. I've noticed that there is a noticeable "shudder" when pedaling. I haven't noticed this on other Bosch motors. Did you notice it when riding the xroad 7?

In France, Xroad 5 price is 3700 Euros, and Xroad 7 at 4300 Euros. Even with transportation cost and custom fees, $5299 seems quite high, compared to French prices... Are you sure that it is not the price a full suspended (FS) model ? (Samedi Xroad FS 7 price is 5000 Euros, that is more comparable to the price you mentioned)
