Just got mine a couple of days ago and am at 150 miles. Loving it so far. Not many offroad opportunities where i live but what little i have has been fun.
Lovely ! What a nice ride ! What do you think about the stock tire on that wonderful diferents roading trip ? Thanks for sharing that sweet sounds of music !
I'm very close to buying a 400 x. As far as offroading goes, what you did in this video is pretty much all I want to do. I don't see myself doing anything more technical. How did it feel? Did it feel capable? Your video makes it look like it was a lot of fun.
This motorcycle is a perfect tool for everyday use and weekend off road rides, it runs perfectly well on tarmac as well as on bad roads. I'm in love with this machine.
Going to dealer to take a look at this one and the speed. I think I will need to get the scrambler due to myslef being 6' 3" inches tall. In your opinion with my height would the Scrambler be the way to go for myself? Thank you.
Hi! Yes it will be the better choice for your size. Let me know if you agree once you have been at the dealership. You are sitting more upright on the scrambler and the handlebar is higher.
@@SplitLaneMoto Thank you for the quick reply. I thought I would be cramped on the speed. Does the out the door price come to around $7,500 for the Scrambler in the US? Thanks again.
I'm 6'2" and just sat on both at the dealer. The Speed 400 felt too small. The Scrambler felt like a perfect fit and very natural to sit on without feeling too big/intimidating either (this is very rare for me - most of the bigger/taller bikes feel intimidating and like too much bike for my comfort level). I did not ride either so I can only comment what I felt sitting on them on the showroom floor but Im leaning very strongly towards bringing home the 400x soon.
