All That Remains - Stand Up 

The singer has a large respect for the military, he left his original band Shadows Fall to join the Marines. Is why a lot of his songs are about strength and honor. The 'War You Cannot Win' album was a tribute to the soldiers.

I was at a shooting range in Vermont about a year ago and Phil showed up out of the blue. I was wearing an ATR shirt and instantly knew I had to act cool and not like a 14 year old girl cause I love this band. We chatted for a bit, he let me shoot his Gen 3 Ares, I let him shoot my M&P 15, we discussed a few songs (this one in particular) and I got an autograph. Phil is the fucking best.

These guys are one of the FEW metal bands formed after 2000 that have never disappointed me.

Still one of the best bands ever to exist. Phill is a boss.

I've just recently heard a song by All That Remains, I told my husband about them and the lead singer was a Marine, he listens to them all the time. my husband was a Marine and was severely injured by an IED in Iraq. now he's dying from Hodgkins lymphoma and his last wish is to see one of their concerts and meet the band. he wants to give them his Purple Hearts from where he was injured on 3 different deployments, the last was his worst plus he lost 5 of his Marines. he said the war couldn't kill me but cancer has him by the balls. thank you to all service members. the government doesn't care about you but every red blooded American Patriot is thankful for all yall have done and will continue to do. Just found out this singer has a military background, regardless of the time he spent in, my respect has increased for the band.

Good Lord people, if you don't like it don't listen to it. It really is that simple. These guys rock plain and simple. When I don't care for a song I just switch to the next one. It really is that simple. That has become the problem with everyone, all they do is complain instead of doing something positive and moving on to the next song.

Adam D is a metalcore producing genius. A war you cannot win is a spectacular album, full of many emotions which are conveyed through Phil. Both screaming and I think his best clean vocals to date. If you don't like the combination there are plenty of bands that do scream only music. Personally I feel closer with combinations, and I believe it takes more talent.
