I reflected on my bag purchases in 2023 - and with some shock I realized: I bought 34 different handbags in 2023. There were luxury bag purchases from brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada and Miu Miu, but even more Contemporary brand bags (for example from Marc Jacobs, Longchamp or Kate Spade and Ted Baker). Are you curious for all the bags I bought 2023? I'm pleasantly surprised, that most of my 2023 bags, I bought preloved (most of them for incredible prices) - and hardly any bags were bought at the regular retail price (even the ones I bought new, I bought with a discount, for example at the outlet).

Sorry for my shirt beeing somewhat seethrough 😅🙈 - my bra wasn’t visible in the mirror and it just showed up in the bright RU-vid lighting (since I just noticed AFTER I was done with filming for nearly an entire hour, we now have to live with it 😅)

Yes there are amazing treasures to be found at our flea markets 🤩 over the years I even found several LV pieces (unfortunately no Chanel or Hermes yet 😁)

Your flea markets sound so cool! The Marc Jacob was a great find for that price, the leather looks lovely. The Chanel raffia was also amazing! You definitely know your bargains. Don’t listen to the haters. This is a great way to find out what you will and will not carry. At the prices you pay, you can just pass them on for free.

I agree, that we‘re very lucky with our flea markets in Germany: whenever I have the chance to visit one on vacation, I do so (have already been to flea markets in New York, Amsterdam and Paris - but they absolutely don’t compare: if saw any good designer pieces there at all, they had very high prices). I‘m currently planning a „all my luxury purchases of 2023“ video - cause I did not just find/buy bags this year😁

I track all my spendings with an app (have been doing so for years 😁) - the most difficult part about it was, to go through all my flea market buys and find all the bags (because I buy clothing aswell 😁). Thank you 🥰 and Happy New Year 🍀🥂

hello Mary , thank you for sharing your collection. The smaller Marc Jacobs clutch could be used as a smaller toiletry bag for a bigger bag I suppose. I also remember that I wanted a Metal to the Petal satchel, but maybe the smaller size.... the little birds are just so cute!

Well at the flea market it‘s „now or never“ - and I‘d rather buy a bag for a few Euro, that I then end up not using and sell or gift it on… than regretting, to have missed one, I would have loved. Happy New Year 🥂🍀

Thank you for sharing your concerns. But no worries, bags are not a priority in my live, just a litte enjoyment and hobby. I never prioritize them over family, health, a safe home and my overall financal situation. So no need to worry. Did you even watch the video? Cause 80% of the bags were bought preloved and most of them for very low prices.
