Thank you for this insightful vlog!! Puh that Dooney & Bourke store looked like a very cheap 1-Euro shop here in Germany (wolford or so? 😅). I wouldn’t be tempted by a display like this as well! I think it is more reasonable to shop for Amerikan brands over there: Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Rebekka Minkoff… 🌸🌸🌸
I checked out Ralph Lauren & Hilfiger at the outlet aswell, but since I didn’t spot any major deals there, I didn’t film it. Hubby tough bought some business shirts there 💕
I am a fan of Dooney and Bourke bags,I think the are beautiful and I have at least 3 preloved bags.😄 There was a big raffia Kate Spade bag,with Kate Spade in big black letters as well as the spade ♠️…I really loved!🖤 I wish you had bought the Jimmy Choo raffia bag..couldn’t you have carried her as your daily bag instead of putting her into your suitcase?🫣😊 For the rest,I saw so much,I got dizzy!😂But a great video,Mary!👌🏻🫶🏼 I can’t wait for the Coach video! Looking back, I really wish I would have searched for a solution for the Jimmy Choo tote struggle - this would have been THE piece to get for me 🙈💕. I got dizzy editing aswell, so many items, so many prices 😵💫😂 Started editing the Coach video today ☺️

@@ollyah1 That's the problem - rudeness - lack of manners. It's rude to go into a store, touch every single pair of shoes to only check the price and not put them back properly. It's disrespectful to the store employees who have worked hard to make the store look good and also disrespectful to the next customer viewing the merchandise. Perhaps Mary only thought about herself - oh I need to film - but she showed that she had class in her polite response. Thank you Mary.

Not to spoiler too much… but the haul will end up quite disappointing 🤫🤣 I always tought I would have to save my 430€-tax/dutie-free-amount for THE perfect purchases and kept looking and looking.. probably I‘ll film my June Recap this weekend, there I will share my entire US haul 😁

The Jimmy Choo tote probably would have been the one💕, if I would have been able to transport it back home (but if I would have taken the new Jimmy Choo as my handbag on the plane, I would have had to squish my Fendi tote in the suitcase 🤔)…. I saw your message on IG and answered you there - unfortunately it‘s very difficult to come to a pleasant solution with VC. Their customer service is terrible and they do whatever they can to not refund you.

Ferragamo and Jimmy Choo were INCREDIBLE 🤩 - in Europe we never have such store-wide promotions on EVERYTHING in the luxury outlet boutiques. Usually here it‘s maybe on one or two racks and current collection always excluded 😅🙈
@@katybroyles2805 During our US trip I visited a TJ Maxx in San Francisco aswell but unfortunately I didn’t enjoy their selection too much, they didn’t have any luxury brands for sale. We didn’t come by a Nordstrom Rack tough

Happy to see you back! I went to Las Vegas during Easter this year and I skipped the opportunity to shop at the outlet stores there expecting the European luxury brands to be cheaper at the outlet malls in Europe (even with the tax return). I am curious to watch your upcoming videos and see whether I was right or wrong and what I missed ;)
The Las Vegas outlet vlog probably will drop later today ❤️. I wasn't expecting too many great deals myself, but was pleasantly surprised! Some stores were running store-wide promotions on top of the outlet prices (20% off everything at Ferragamo, 25% off everything at Jimmy Choo, even 60-70% off at Stuart Weitzman if you purchased two or more items). Which made some of the prices really good and tempting. Nevertheless I ended up just buying one pair of earrings 🙈: knowing I'm only allowed to import items worth 430€, before I would have to pay import fees & duties held me back quite a lot.
@@LuMiLevelUpwow it sounds really good, but maybe it the time of the year that the outlet stores run extra promotions. Who knows :) And yeah the import tax over 430€ and the currency conversion are to be considered when buying anything of a higher price tag. But like it always is: when you plan to/absolutely allow yourself to splurge - you do not find a lot to buy 😂. But there’s at least 3 US-trip-shopping/looking around vlogs to come ❤️

Hi Monika, thank you so much, here are my answers: 1. Yes, after just a few wears the handles were back in shape (I even completely forgot that I initially had that issue with them) 2. The cream-colored dustbag is a quite delicate color: I got quite some stains onto it, but was able to gently wash them out again (with a towel and some soap). The leather corners show some slight scuffs now (but not to a point were it wouldn't look nice anymore) 3. And yes: I absolutely love to wear it, especially as an office bag and I even traveled with it. I love the bag so much, that I actually started considering to get a real Hermes Garden Party one day 😁
Can I ask how you get your husband to go outlet shopping much less using a vacation day? He sounds like a perfect man! Mine would complain the entire time.
I‘m lucky in the sense that he likes to stroll around 💕 (and he is very supportive of my RU-vid channel). But usually we make a little deal: one trip to the outlet equals one day of hiking - which he loves to do, but is not my favorite activity 😁. On top he always takes earphones and his tablet - when he had enough, he just sits down somewhere to read or listen to a podcast/audiobook

After I did some research on the sunscreen incident, I found out that quite some sunscreens have similar ingredients as nail-polish remover 😱 how did I not know this for so many years?!

I unfortunately didn’t see any of your big grey tree squirrels 🐿️ but a whole lot of ground squirrels (not sure if that’s their correct name 😂 - they seem to have a somewhat less fluffy tail and seem to not climb on trees, but move on the ground and probably live in pits) - they were ADORABLE! And we saw a lot of chipmunks aswell 😍 so many of them running around and playing. It was absolutely wonderful!
What is happening to me I wouldn't wish on anyone. First I buy a bag the same as one I had already bought last year and when it arrives I realize that each one has different details and I take it to verify in the Louis Vuitton store, realizing that both bags are fake, I claim them and they send me the label and they say again that the bags are original, where even the code that one of them has inside does not match any country or the brand, the other with details that even a child realizes are false, they tell me that They will publish both bags on my account because they comply with the details of the publication and the brand, this really does not seem real that it is happening to me, how am I going to sell two bags on my profile that are fake and that they themselves sent me, So I tell them that they should accept their mistake and that they should sell it and give me my money back. I'm tired of complaining to them and they only say that they understand my situation but that they should publish it on my profile. In other words, they are forcing me to sell two fake bags. ENDS HERE, while I am in this process I receive a mini backpack that I was waiting for before realizing the aforementioned situation and upon receiving it and seeing that I did not like it I gave the option to resell before 72 hours and When I get to them they tell me that they have canceled the sale because it did not pass the quality control and that I must pay 15 euros to return said backpack, but we are talking about the backpack that they sent me authenticated and with its authentication label without taking off, So it means that they sent me a fake backpack too and they are blaming themselves without realizing it, that's where you realize that their "expert, digital and personal authenticators" are a big lie, they don't respond to my messages and now They themselves have 5,715 euros in their hands that belong to me, because I have paid 2,295 for one bag, 2,230 for another and 1,190 for the mini backpack, I am desperate with this situation. 06/28/2024

Hello, I watched your videos about the topic and it happened to me too. I bought a Chanel necklace from VC in 2018 for 720€ and in 2023 decided to sell it. It didn’t pass the authentication because it was fake. I opened a chat and mentioned my situation with all details: order numbers, dates, amounts. After 5 days they got back to me and said that it went to a second control and it is not complaint. They gave me a bank account for me to pay 15€ in order to get the item back. I said I don’t want it back and I want my money to be refunded. I am waiting further to see where is this going… If you have any advice I appreciate it… So… the lady lied about this matter!!! I keep proof of everything…
