Thank you for these simple explanations which actually help me to better understand this new hardware and software environment. Speaking of software, when do you plan to release the video regarding the T1 Ranger VTOL software update?
Budding RC pilot, arrived here researching an experimental project. I'd like to fly a few (2 or 3) planes in formation... where the lead is RC. Seems that ARDUPILOT guided mode might work if the lead plane transmitted waypoints (suppose points could be relayed through a ground station/ mission planner) . I understand some copter systems use visual references. Was wondering if you've seen fixed wing 'assisted' formation flying and what you recommend to get started. Thanks
@@Painless360 Initially maybe I'll switch the formation where I fly acro around an ardu plane doing a more simple routine. I see the miniPix is inexpensive, is that / or other models capable of a roll or loop while flying a circuit of waypoints?
Thank you for the clarification. Could you also explain, if the controller has a built-in compass, why is it necessary to use external compass? Is it better a lot?
Hello sir.... Thanks for the videos... Actually I want suggestion on which autopilot to be used for commercial selling drones in which we get more safety and world level performance. Please suggest some beat autopilots, budget isn't the matter. Thnx in advance sir
I am working on a project for school that deals with indoor autonomous flight and mapping. I am using an NVIDIA Jetson Nano for all image/video processing but am looking for which FC Hardware to purchase as well as FC Firmware to download. The indoor enviroment will not have GPS connection. I am new to the drone market so am not quite sure what to get. I see you use the Holybro 6C quite often and have been looking at getting that simply becuase of all the online help available. Any recommendations on FC Hardware and Firmware?
It depends on what you need the model to do. I don't fly without GPS lock here with models using Ardupilot. See my video about the most common firmware options to help inform your choice - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y12tAXnGptY.html - I hope that helps.
Hey wondering if you could help. So building a rover platform RC. Want to use the pixhawk. Now when it comes to powering the pixhawk it takes a max 5v input. So was wondering, if i used a step down converter (12v to 5v), would that make it fine for me to then connect the pixhawk to a 12v car battery for example?
Please if you would One simple question for you. I have a for sale GIFI battery. 8050 milliamp hours. It is a brand new battery with no flights on it yet. Can you give me a ballpark figure of what type of IR I should be seeing on this batter? Thank you and yes I am subscribed. Keith
I've never used those, so not sure what a typical milliohm reading for it would be... taking readings over the first few changes will give you an idea.. best of luck
I'd be happy to help you with your question about your fixed-wing aircraft and Mission Planner. It seems like you're experiencing an issue with setting the aileron angle in FBWA mode. Here's the English translation of your question: "I have a fixed-wing aircraft, and I configured its settings in Mission Planner. However, I encountered an issue when trying to set the aileron angle in FBWA (Fly-By-Wire A) mode. I manually set the aileron angle to 25 degrees, but I can't see this adjustment reflected in FBWA mode. What could be the reason for this? I would greatly appreciate your answers."
So where does INAV sit in? And which flight controller would you recommend which is light weight and supports a 500-600 gram fixed plane? Is the choice of hardware based on any factors other than price?
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y12tAXnGptY.html may be worth a look. It depends on the firmware that matches what you want to do. Once you know that, then you can choose a flight controller.. Best of luck.
What about if I have in the PM Board connect to main 3 an ESC and main 2 and 4 with servos. How I have to connect I/O and FMU between PM and PX4? Anyway, great videos, subscriber since months ago!
Please see this video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P4soR6QgOk0.html - that should help you find those videos of mine and help you find the answers you need quickly.
@@Painless360 Hi, I have seen the video and I spent 3 hours just looking for the right video. I am learning a lot about PX4, TBS Crossfire.. and I really appreciate all your videos but I can't see the correct video for my question. I try some connection by myself after look all videos but it doesn't work.
Yes it very confusing. There should be a uav breaking it down. There should be some kind of standards. Even when it comes to naming things. Im no expert here. But it feels like uav world is all over the place with a lot of unanswered questions. What about Auterion? I see the px4 some how it mixed in with this company Auterion. Is that a hardware flight controller same as the orange cube?
There was a standard in the early days, then manufacturers started adding numbers to try and make their version appear newer and up to date. It became a farce at the end so the Cubepilot guys stopped using numbers... Happy flying
@@Painless360 Thanks for the answer! Quick! Thx! In other words, can I choose a Chinese clone of Pixhawk 2.4.8 or buy "Оrange cube" or "holybro 6c", the difference in price and reliability? You advise starting with ""orange cube" Thx!
