Hi thanks for the visit. Sharing that bit about trees is so interesting also being outside makes a huge impact on our daily lives. We have the grandson in aftercare again and he is improving daily learning socializing with his age kids. It has its ups and downs but without him knowing he is learning to cope with the good and bad of life. Wow thanks for showing the quilt shop. Just wish l could sit and stitch with you and the sisters! Huge hugs from a cold Sunday morning in South Africa.
You weren’t kidding about that quilt shop. Small but mighty. I loved your tree “story”. I think one key to staying young is to be a lifelong learner. Now I just need to figure out what it is I want to learn. I think I need to adopt your mom’s sticky note method for the time being. Thank you for all you share.
That pumpkin quilt looks amazing! You did a great job on the Tomato one as well. Interesting information about the tree and the of air/environment requirements for people. The quilt shop was packed with so many “pretties”. Looked like a great time at the shore. All prepared and ready for Sisters, enjoy your classes and have a great time.
Hi Anna, I love your channel. I have just bought the quilter bee cross stitch pattern as I am also a quilter and a cross stitcher, and my son keeps bees. It also reminded me of our times spent together in the beehive. I live in East Anglia in the UK and yet I get to visit gorgeous places with you on a regular basis, whilst listening to your lovely stories. How lucky I am. ❤
Went to Cannon Beach last week with 94 yr old quilting mom and sisters. Of course we stopped at the Center Diamond Quilt Shop. Indeed it is packed with a variety of fabric and inspiration.
I'm glad you were able to visit your son & his family. You must have been overjoyed. BTW I really enjoyed the guitar serenade during the fabric shop visit. It looks like a great place to shop 😅
Thanks for the visit it was great to see you and catch up. I’ve been quilting a quilt that the blocks are all hand embroidered. So much fun to make. While I have been quilting I’ve been listening to the dressmakers of Auschwitz. A true story by Lucy Adlington. Very good. Enjoy your time in Sisters. 😊

❤. I just love spending my morning coffee time with you - how lovely you got to spend time at the ocean!!🌊 do Woody & Jesse go with you? That tomato hanging is gorgeous! I keep looking around my house to see if I would have room - but not so far ;) It is criminal the way children have to not move around- I worked in an office at a high school that started with “homeroom” at 7:30 - imagine a teenager getting up and being lucid before 9! 😂. They had a twenty minute lunch time. When my eldest went to college- he set up his schedule to start after 12, lol!!! Maybe someday, someone will wake up and realize our children are our most precious resource and treat them that way.
Hi Anna, So good to see you. I too love the Center Diamond Quilt Shop. G's music makes me want to dance around each isle, ever so slowly so I don't miss anything and maybe take a bow at my favorite fabric bolts 😂 😆 😂 I sure hope I make it to the Quilt Show in Sister's. Thanks for the update and tour of the wonderful shop!! Your desire to finish some quilts has inspired me. I just finished my Kawandi quilt made with all Kaffe Collective fabrics and I’m big stitch quilting my Wendy Williams Round the Garden. So, what’s next?? I have many in the queue, some started and some not. But first, both my sewing room and my quilting storage room need some time spent organizing and cleaning. I can’t work in chaos.
Enjoyed all you showed and especially the talk of trees. It was very inspiring. After the Quilt Show in Sisters, my daughter and granddaughters are flying to meet me in Portland. We are going to the Oregon Coast for several days. It was wonderful to hear all you had to say and I will definitely stop by Center Diamond. Thanks for the video. Wow, I want 3 panels and a book from that adorable shop! There was plenty more, but you know, a girl has to have some restraint LOL. I will have my own Yazzii bag soon as I won one from Colleen and Cheryl on their Quilt Tube. Cannot wait to get it to embellish it LOL. How nice to go to Cannon Beach and the Center Diamond. I love that quilt shop also. It’s been a number of years since I’ve been there. That’s one of my favorite places on the Oregon coast. I hope you enjoy Sister’s, your class and the whole experience.

Good morning Anna. Well its Sunday morning as i watch your last video. As always I so enjoy our short visits . Love to hear your thoughts and always hear something new to me. Your visit to the coast looked wonderful, so cool and beautiful. They say to expect between 110-113 here this coming week. Guess its hibernate time as i don't do well with those temps. Loved your thoughts on finishing what we have started. Now the hard part, carrying through. LOL. Enjoy your time in Sisters.

Another family time to add to your bank of special memories 😊 I've had to put WIPs away and clear the decks in order to concentrate getting a 50th WA Sampler finished. I've a finger on my right hand (typically I'm right-handed!) in a splint for 6 weeks and another 4 weeks overnight and then hand therapy - unless it needs surgery (and back to square one!) so I've ditched future plans until the Sampler is finished. My vertigo type problem and prescription during this past hot week has made me just want to sleep so as the chart/stitch is proving to be one I'm not enjoying (but haven't time to begin another) I'm struggling. Our friends regard anything I've made them over the years as very special and made with love so I'm not giving up. I find my left hand and wrist don't want to play either so I've enjoyed watching you and going on a tour of a lovely shop as a rest. Thanks Anna.
Hi Anna, sew good to see you. I want to get back to my sewing. I have been going through cancer treatment and now my hubbie will be going through cancer treatment, also. Our life has been put on hold but I really need a diversion sew I should start a little project to get my mind back to enjoying something other than doctors, treatments, etc. Have a blest day. ❤

I miss the Oregon. Coast. I loved driving down to see my cousin who grew up in Bandon. I think my mother felt sorry for me only having brothers. We often took our children there. You have such wonderful projects today!
So many people say their best sleep is in their camper. One You Tuber I follow says she and her husband will sleep in the camper sometimes when they are home.
