Lots of laughs and stitching. Enjoy the month of July and we’ll see you again August 4 Thanks so much for all your comments and likes. We truly appreciate you all❤️❤️❤️
Oh my goodness! I’m laughing because I’m at the part where Brenda is looking at a BBD chart & Laura is looking at her stitched progress on the linen, both of you are back in love with this wip to stitch - BUT YOU NEVER SHOWED THE CHART OR NAME. LOL!!! We hear you both talk about it the one with Lori Holt changed the colors & Laura said it’s a group SAL with Suzie Reno is one person in the group. But I can’t stop laughing. Okay I’m going back to watch the rest of your video. Love you both ❤️
LOVE going through Laura's basket. I think this should be a part if every video. I love very long videos. You two crack me up! Thank you for all you do. ❤❤
You both are always wonderful to watch. Brenda, my vote would be for you to stitch the bunny with pink. ❤ Laura, I'd gladly take that tote off your hands. Especially the one with all the little Blackbird charts you started stitching on once piece of fabric. You both do such amazing projects.
It is SO good for my soul to listen to you two beautiful ladies!! Brenda’s giggles and Laura’s enthusiasm over her treasures in the tub… and Brenda’s responses to the treasures… and then there’s that darned cuckoo clock!!! As always, this was the best hour and a half I’ve spent! Have a great safe sane and silent 4th, and see you again in a month!!
I’m so happy you are going to work in Sarah Milthorp, Brenda! It’s such a beauty. Also, I would like to apply for the organizing weekend for Laura. We will get everything settled and in its place whip snip! 😂 - Sheri
Inspired by Sheri’s finish of Sarah Milthorp I am also stitching this. I just loved Sheri’s sampler so much I had to stitch it. Thank you Sheri, Brenda and Laura for your inspiration! Love you Ladies!
My husband and I are stuck in the Atlanta airport overnight. I am so angry with Delta Airlines so I sat down and finished watching you two. You made me laugh! Think I’ll start it all over again. Why not I’ve got all night!
And Cathy, now you are having a great time right this very minute aren't you????? Say hi to everyone at the table for me!!!!! See you in October! Love, Laura
Hey sweet friends, This one was so good, I'll be watching it multiple times during July until your return. Can't wait for the next "Laura's Tub Show"!!! xoxoxo
Oh thank goodness the program name can remain! Brenda, your facial expressions are priceless! Laura, you’re my girl!! Thank you for a wonderful episode. The Grand Finale truly was! I was laughing out loud! Enjoy your well earned time off.💕😂🥰
Oh that is so cool Sharon!!!!! It is a big sampler, but it is so beautiful that I am sure it will hold your interest and what a fabulous end result you will have. One stitch at a time!
Anything you want to show I will watch. If it is Laura's collection of partially-done (or barely-started) projects, all the better. You are so funny, the two of you. Fantastic video. One of your best!
You guys are so enabling K. I had to stop several times to look up things….and perhaps order a few! Laura…I had to laugh! I’m a few years past 72 and i am stitching like crazy on my WIPs. 😂
I loved this video so much however I love all of your videos. Laura - thank you so much for going through one of your tubs. It was so much fun and priceless to do it with Brenda's comments. You two are such a pleasure to watch and you are both so inspiring. Thank you so much for all that you do.
So much fun to see all of your treasures! Thank you for keeping me company on this hot June day... staying safe inside and stitching with you two brings so much joy!🌹🌺🏵🌸🌻🌼🌷
I so look forward to your flosstubes. Love the way you two interact and all the projects are inspiring. I haven’t ever stitched a sampler but I know one day I will. Brenda’s room downstairs is spectacular!
It was a lot of laughs - I couldn't stop when Brenda just put her head in her hands - hahahha! Love it all so much - I can't even :) we are so done!!! Precious
Coffee with Brenda and Laura is the best way to start the week! Do not even stitch while watching, would miss too much! August!,, too long to wait.. happy stitching
Love you guys, you make me laugh a lot and the way you just chat away as if you aren't 'on air' , it really does feel like we are sitting in the lounge room together!! Now Laura, you are insane, in the nicest way! But you probably are the type of person that shouldn't kit up a project. You must have an insane amount of linen and threads, threads and linen. If you boxed up all your threads you probably have triple of everything. Anyway keep up the floss tubes, they make my day. Hello from Australia xx
You two had me cracking up during Laura’s reveal of forgotten projects. I thought Brenda was going to lose her +#%* - you kept your composure so well!! Laura, if you need any of those projects rehomed there are lots of us who can help you out! 😉
I know you are in the Chicagoland area…. Black Cat Stitchery in Winthrop Harbor, IL has a (maybe full selection) of Cottage Garden Threads. She has a great selection of Gentle Arts Wool too. I was there a year ago while visiting my daughter in Milwaukee. Just make sure she’s open if you make a road trip. Otherwise, she has a website. It is worth the visit.
Thank you so much for your videos. Your unashamed showing of your started but not finished is encouraging. It’s that comforting realization that “I’m not the only One who ….!” You will be missed for the next month. Don’t ever think people don’t watch. We do! We may not finish but we start;)
Brenda. You were looking for Cottage Garden Threads here in the states. My local quilt shop carries the complete line of floss from CGT. The shop is Mountain Creek Quilt Shop in Maryville, TN. You can shop online for the threads.
We are camping on the California coast with campground WiFi that works best when most people are asleep so I am watching in installments! You’ve inspired me to start a Brenda Gervais patriotic piece this weekend . I love stitching outside. Do you two stitch anywhere other than a favorite chair? Also, Laura mentioned one designer was in her top ten. It would be a fun video for you both to share your top ten designers. ❤️
Another delight! Laura, we need a comprehensive WIP parade. As Dr. Phil used to say “you can’t fix what you don’t acknowledge”! It would be a service to all of us. Have a wonderful month! ❤Susan Murphy
Okay, I totally enjoyed watching today and it went too fast. Loved the mini WIP parade. Now, what are we going to do without you two for a whole month??? LOL!!!
I thought I posted this comment yesterday or before, but now I don’t see it. My LNS The Black Cat Stitchery in Winthrop Harbor IL carries the Cottage Garden Threads and they are available to view on her website. Just beautiful colors! I’m happy to find a designer that has them charted!!! You guys are so fun to watch! I hope I get to run into you in person some day!!
Brenda!! You are soo welcome! I’m thrilled that you got two Chatbooks done! You will love them. Now the challenge is to go back, go thru the house etc and find stitches you did in your past stitching life , the oldies , once I started it was amazing how many I found. Nice to do a book of the early stuff!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
As soon as I finish one of your videos, I’m looking forward to a next one! There’s no better way to spend some time. I’m always smiling & full of joy while watching. Thank you both so much!
OMG Laura was born in Holland Michigan?!?!?!? I live 30 miles from there. I had no idea you were both from Michigan. so fun. Also, you mentioned needing to change Laura's name (NOT) but may I suggest the Serial Restarter? The Serial Starter Overer ? xoxo.
Laura, you are my spirit animal. When Brenda said "things are out of control now!" I had thought that 20 minutes before. A comedy show could not have scripted that episode of Felix and Oscar any better. (Odd Couple). Although Brenda is not nearly as righteous as Felix and Laura is never ambivalent like Oscar, just carefree and living in the moment. But your bins, Laura....I have bins and they are archeology digs as well:). Here's to carbon dating all our half started projects. Love you both. Thank you thank you!
You two are amazing! Such a joy and delight. So many laughs and so much inspiration. I absolutely adore your pear stand, Brenda. Thanks for explaining how it was made. My hubby might be able to do something like that for me too.
Brenda, you’re going to need a month to recover from this week’s shenanigans. 😂 I kept waiting for you to say, “No more! I’m done.” and storming out of the room. Laura, you just kept pulling treasure after treasure from that box. Next time that you feel the need to buy something new, maybe you should go shop your box. Hehe Love y’all and have a wonderful Ju!❤
Oh, my! This video was so great! Of course the best part was going through Laura’s tub! Thanks for sharing everything! I may need to rewatch this one…. Looking forward to August 4th!
Brenda I love your explanation of what goes on there... "laughs and entertainment"... even that is an understatement. I just love the updates... the progress or lack thereof :)))
Well...MAYBE this video will tide me over til August!?!? Regardless it was GREAT!!! Some enabling happened and lots more to go check out! Loved the tote reveal!!!
I love your floss tubes … except I have to stop stitching to watch Brenda’s face when Laura gets going - I’m laughing so much!! Thank you ladies 🤣🤣🤣 Have great holidays .. will miss you but enjoy!
I need to take to my bed after that tub 😂😂. I’m an accountant like Brenda so this gives me heart palpitations! So many good things - I don’t even know what to assign as your marching orders. Love it!! As always, inspiring me to grow my collection. Hugs and happy stitching.
Yes you definitely provided us with some really good giggles. This was so much fun. I loved seeing all of Your starts Laura. It made me dig through my stash a bit and pull out an older piece to work on. Enjoy your vacations.
I have a problem. Stopped the video at midnight to schoom over to Sub Rosa. Thought I bought 2 patterns. Woke to realize I bought 6! 😆😆 Thanks, ladies!
I did that too, although didn't buy but hearted a lot of patterns! I'm learning to resist getting carried away in the moment! It's not good for the bank balance
Abby at TopKnot Stitcher carries Cottage Garden, and I think GaRon Stitchery and Fat Quarter shop might too. I think The Crafty Grimalkin carries Cottage Garden Threads; I know she has Colour and Cotton.
I love watching you two - and especially loved watching Laura’s bin reveal! Thank you Laura for assuaging my conscience - you are not the only one with those guilty secrets! 😂
Thank you. You two are the best. I love watching Laura open up all her past forgotten starts. It’s like seeing her opening her Christmas presents. Enjoy your July vacation. I can’t wait to see what the two of you have gotten up to.
