That first D1 commercial with Led Zeppelin Immigrant Song playing was CLASSIC!!! I was hooked after that

I remember watching Destiny growing up, I didn’t start playing until Season of Arrivals so all I had at the beginning was my dad when he played it and I loved it, if it weren’t for this game, idk who I’d be

That line has always been my favorite and part of what hooked me forever to the game. Playing VoG in D1 and taking on Atheon for the first time, fighting a larger than life boss and then seeing that phrase really hit it home with me. We fought the Gatekeeper of time and we beat it Guardians really make our own fate

I haven't felt sad and filled with passion to win since Gears of war series especially when gears of war 3 with the death of Dom!

Hearing that should stur something in all of us we can't explain what or how it's just a gut feeling.

I will forever remember my first raid team when we beat Atheon and we all cheered when it was done and seeing this brings the joy that i had when i first played it. Destiny will always live in my heart when its all said and done

Nothing like VoG for the first time... personally, one of the greatest gaming moments ever.

I'm gonna miss destiny so much when it all comes to an end. 😮

I okay this game for 10 years, I’ll never stop

Guardians stand against the storm. They're the ones who answer the call, even if that call is to fight a storm, a god, or anything else. Its why im so hyped to fight the witness. You (the witness) sent us through the collapse, thousands of worlds in agony, watching everything in pain. When we take the witness down, we aren't fighting fate. Guardians fight the darkness creeping in every corner of every world the witness has ever touched. This is why i love Destiny so much. Ive been waiting a long fucking time to avange those who have fallen to the darkness fighting along side us.

I left destiny after the first one. I just didn’t have the money to keep doing the DLC’s but I did have fun with the first game so many memories so many friends.

Watching a game grow an change from the begining is hard nostalgia bugs glitches friends that have stopped playing friends that are still an watching the game end or come to a end when no one else sees it destiny an warframe are the obly games i know of their calapier that have storys that are as old as they are

We came so far and yet theirs more with more coming at the end of our journey a new journey for those who want a little piece of it come and take it it’s yours do what you want it’s your fate to change we made our fate and our wish now we are what remains of an old legacy

Nostalgia is nolstagia for a reason. I don't regret playing Destiny, but my Guardians retire when this season ends

Everytime I raid for atheon. The moment Time’s Vengeance comes up, I scream it out to the raid team. Not everyone likes it, but it lets them know to get ready to do damage if they’re newer.

Brought back memories nice.

Despite everything bad to be said about Destiny, the story and level of detail it gets, whether people consider certain part of it done better or worse, is forever loved by me, as well as, I believe, many other guardians.

Guardians Make Their Own Fate And We Choose To Defend. Be The Line In The Sand, The Beacon Of Hope. There are few people or stories told where we get to be heros. Being a hero is looked down on. And it's sad.

To those who want to say D2 was a disappointment, all I will say is so what? The game is not perfect but you know what, I still have fun with it. If you want to be someone that continues to say how much of a disappointment D2 has been, ask yourself, did you have fun at least? Because the game will be fun to those who don't have high expectations of the game, to those who casually farm Raids, Dungeons, GMs, etc., to those who want to learn about the lore and everything, and those who want to challenge other players in PvP modes. Destiny 2 is not perfect, but it can be fun when you stop having high expectations and just go with it.

Damn don’t know why but feel like our character is gonna die in this one.

D1, thematically just hit different than D2 ever has. Story, sound, the atmosphere etc D2 feels cartoony compared.

Write our own fate..... proceeds to grind for everything. Lives in a box. Fight all enemies untill they talk.

We make our own fate aslong as you play at the time we have this very particular weapon you need to be meta cause at the end of the day there is only one way to play this game unless you dont play when we want you to play

And then the Tencent faction destroyed the traveler.

I am glad i quit this game. I learned to golf, earned an MBA, started a business, and sold it. All this started because I stopped consuming this content and focused my energy on something I can control, not developers. If you feel stuck and this is your outlet, know that life has so much more. I get nostalgia, but all I get is wasted time.

Been playing since day 1 d1 across several consoles and accounts over the years and this is ans always will be one of the best journeys I've been on. I'm sad it's ending but seeing everyone come back for it has been amazing. Thank you guys for being Guardians, it's been an honor to take part. 🫡
