I want to give Scout Armor an honorable mention. The only reason why it was not included on this list is simple: Scout Armor lacks the power packs found on other patterns of suits. Being Space Marines in training (also known as neophytes), Scouts do not have the Black Carapace yet, the organ needed to fully interface with their power armor. Instead, Scout Armor is created from layers of Carapace Armor that can stop rounds, while the fatigues are made from ballistic nylon that does not hamper the movements of the Scout. Once again, Scout Armor did not make the list for the lack of a power pack, so while it is armor, it's not power armor in the conventional sense, but it is the first suit of armor that neophytes wear as they begin their journey to become proper Space Marines.

For me it is a toss between Mark 6 and the Mark 10. The upper body of the Corvus is iconic. BUT the Mark 10 has patterns that remove those ugly ass bulky Grinch feet XD

Wait the studs are not designed to break off in response to damage, they're rivets, rivets that molecularly bond layers of armor yes, but rivets nonetheless, the studs themselves are not the armor or meant to take damage directly , they're meant to hold the armor together Edit, idk maybe that's not what you meant, but it was worded weirdly

You know it could actually be both to hold the armor layers together and be designed in such a way as to break off in response to damage without compromising the armor integrity unless enough are destroyed. Case in point if you were using rivets to hold layers of armor together and only that you would line the outer edge with the rivets so they would be less likely to take the damage the armor is ment to absorb. But the design and placement of these is more that of Studded leather where they are spread to help in deflecting or absorbing direct damage while still holding the overall integrity of the armor.

Thank you... Was honestly considering leaving the video and just browsing the wiki. Hate raid so much, yet see it everywhere. Yes, I know I can skip it, but every time I see it I just kinda die inside a little now with how often its still advertised even 4 years later. Pretty much any time I click on a new RU-vidr to watch it feels like there is a 25% chance there will be a Raid AD. Especially when they Segway into it in a way that makes it sounds like they are going to talk about something new and interesting like this guy did...

Nice video mate. Earned my subscription with just this video. The power armor has always been one of the top reasons why I fell in love with the 40K lore and universe. Would love to see you do a video like this for tactical dreadnaught (terminator) armor or one about the different types of dreadnoughts.

Custodes, Thunder Warrior, and Inquisitions armour is NOT Space Marin armour. All Space Marine armour is Power armour but not all Power armour is Space Marine armour. Check title

I wonder if the primaries have their own versions of Terminator and if even their week is suit of armor is still better than firstborn Marines armor of the same class 🤔...I hate that about Warhammer Oh this is a precious relic even though it's the one that every single Marine uses Why does everything got to be overly rare It's just cheap writing it seems 🤦‍♂️...

To answer your questions: 1. Primaris don't have unique Terminators, they just use the standard "Indomitus" pattern armor 2. Terminator Armor is VERY few and far between, but it's not impossible to reproduce and maintain. There are entire chapters devoid of it. Not every astartes has it.
