I’ve watched chosenarchitect play a bit of this pack, he’s not bad but YOU, YOU have energy that makes this series amazing, thank you Alfred for making one of my favorite packs ever into an experience and not just a long tutorial series like others ❤
Imo chosen went way too hard into ars and neglected other much better mods, ars is only actually useful for magelight bc an infinite light source/free nightvision whenever you want it is very nice, but the other spells you can make get gery quickly outmatched by other things, like him using ars armor past the earlygame was painful, and him using the attack spells he made wasted so much time and effort when a silent gear sword would be dealing twice the damage, and by the time he switched to allthemodium gear he was at the point where he could he using unobtainium or vibranium stuff. Hes done similar with mystical block, he focused way too hard into one mod for most of the pack and by the time hes started actually progressing he could have been done with the pack, i get that hes gotta make content but intentionally dragging it on hust isnt fun to watch
I didn't have cheats enabled so I figured the command was disabled til I saw a comment from Alfred below stating it was necessary and found a small workaround by selcting "Open to lan" and enabling cheats, this should hopefully revert upon me loading the world again and as we speak my game is loading 10000 chunks at at around 1000 chunks per minute. thank you so much alfred for how attentive you are to your audience, found my new favourite minecraft youtuber (didn't think i'd ever say that again lol im 25) Edit: the journey map auto-mapping is working now too as it wasn't before.
I just started watching your playthrough and I have to say it's awesome! You're awesome! I'm playing the pack too and randomly found your playlist. It's great to play and watch at the same time. I have learned a few neat tricks from your videos as well. Even in the first video you're throwing out awesome tips! You rock. 😎 Can't wait to watch you grow.
just saw this channel and just like ChosenArchitect its giving me an early vibes of minecraft and nothing else deserves my attention rn XD i love that old feel i used to get watching those and im glad i can see it with enw modpacks that i can actually play along with
Nice! There is also anew mod AdoraBuild: Structures that adds 32 unique structures with useful loot and now covers 14 biomes quite high-quality and perfectly fits into the natural minecraft generation
This is THE most underrated Minecraft channel out there! Found you by accident homie, but dayum, you are good! You produce video much better than some of your 500k-2mil subs counterparts.
I’m new to modded, and so far yours is my favourite let’s play! I’ve already watch ep 1 and ep 2 a couple of times each 😅. Thank you and I hope you’ll continue making content for this noob!
"The first thing i did was generate about 20,000 chunks" my pc heard that and i can almost hear it begging me not to do that, if i did that it might explode 😂
I also learned that 20k chunks is not enough... so in my new series, I generated ~100k lol It's actually really good for your pc, and saves you a ton of resources while playing the game!
@@AlfredGGMC yeah i have learned that now, and yeah 20k wasnt enough so i also ended up doing about 100k. Saves me soo many frames while im out exploring
That Forge Generate command might be a lifesaver, can't believe I've never heard it before. Love your energy btw, I thought about doing some lets plays myself, but I've got nowhere near the attention or personality to give that a go yet, and I'm glad you can provide it in your videos.
Quick question... Doing a single player world myself, and noticed that the '/forge generate' command doesn't work...no 'generate' option available... How would I get that enabled?
That is a tough one. I would assume there might be a mod to help with that. What I'd do is generate the world in normal using the command, then switch it to hardcore. Maybe that would work?
The map will only generate chunks that are already generated by the world. You can increase your view distance and generate again, or use the /forge generate ~ ~ ~ (radius of chunks) command.
A lot of times, I just hold shift and left click. If you want to send several stacks of items to or from your inventory, pick up one of the stacks, and then hold shift and double click another stack of the same item. It'll send over all items at once!
3:45 d-did he just mine 59 cobblestone with a wooden pickaxe? who does that? I just mine 3 cobblestone with it and throw it away Edit: oh right ultimine
hey its diabolik from stream... anyways i tried the generate command and it didnt work and my map does not have those options... idk what the difference is... but thats why i asked in stream if you could go more in depth on the commands you use and some other just tips and tricks for the game play or even to help the game run smoother...
Are you playing on a single player world with cheats enabled? If you aren't, that might explain why. My process for generating worlds goes like this: 1: When I spawn in, I use /forge generate ~ ~ ~ 20000. This takes a while. This generates 20k chunks out (each chunk is 16 blocks, so 320k blocks in each direction) and reduces the strain on your PC when you are exploring. Don't do this much if you have a small amount of space on your HDD/SDDs. 2: Once that is done, I open up Journeymap (default keybind is J) and then click on the "Auto-Map" button in the bottom right. Looks like a wand. I then click "All" and this will generate a map for me based on the size of how many blocks are already generated via the forge command. 3: I usually turn off the wandering trader via /gamerule doWanderingTrader false - because I hate that guy. You must be OP or Admin to use these on a server, and cheats must be enabled to use them on a SP world (I believe). Hope this helps!
I'm on a single player, cheats enabled. Generate command seemed to work fine, but the auto map won't fill in my map. I tried the missing option first, and then the all option. On chunks that I've already explored and unlocked, the boxes turn green, and then and all the unexplored areas, they turn red and don't fill in. Any ideas on how to fix it?
