So in the 1.0.4 Update you can now get Cinnabar, Apatite, Sulfur, and salt from Sieves so no need for the method I used unless you want to get into Alchemistry :D

I love how Chosen’s catchphrase is “Believe it or not!”. It is so distinctive and I associate that phrase with Chosen when watching Minecraft videos.

I always felt thermal machines were too slow, but with the added three tiers of upgrades this setup will get much faster. So once again Chosen has given me homework 😜.

You can also use saltpeter which does have a seed.

You can change the ae2 controller style by disabling ae2 ressource pack from xycraft to make the controller rainbow rgb

Flux networks and phytogenic machines, these 2 have been absolute staples for my playthroughs of the ATM packs. Phytogenic machines definitely seem slow at first, but once you get some upgrades into them, their speed is insane and a couple working together can easily catch up to the big farms. There is a cyclical upgrade for them that removes the need for the 2x1 drawer, but that does slow the process down a little bit since you lose a slot for that upgrade. Flux networks have become so easy to get into as well and is typically cheaper than the gates from powah, but the gates do look much cleaner.

Once you get to the End, don't sleep on the Containment Ritual from Ars Nouveau. You don't farm the dragon with drygmy from Ars Nouveau. You use the special feature of a dragon caught in a jar to automate Dragon's Breath. With a player user of your choice it gets you your dragonite dust for that ore to make the integral components. That style of automation would fit your complex factory setup as well.

Yep and that's how I automated it in Volcano Block so this go around I'm going to use Xycraft to farm Dragons breath I think 🤔

you can put all the laggy thing into a Hyper box, come from a mod similar to compact machine. use a ender chest or some pipe can simply improve your resource generation

Hi chosen, To simplify your setup for MA with the phytogenic, you can do even simplier with Super Factory Manager which is in the pack. With a little bit of code, you could have everything next to an inventory cable and insert/extract on all at the same time. Keep up the good work

You Can use the super factory manager to create a really clean pytho setup saw a video where a guy made a little tutorial and it looked really good

I know there's facades and whatnot, but I wish there were like wall conduits that pipes and wires could be hidden in.

@@GrandwiggThat's basically what xnet does. Their facades are a complete block, not one face. When having any cable in your hand you'll get x-ray vision of all the hidden cables. It's still not retroactive, you will need to take out the block first, then place cable, then place the cable cover. However, it's way easier and more intuitive than the AE2 method. Also xnet combines all functionality in a single cable, which means a single wall cable is both an item pipe and a wire.

Chosen, you should have just made saltpeter seeds. I think those are in there. Its the same as niter and can make phytogrow.

I'm surprised you've not gone full wireless. There's a block that acts like a P2P tunnel but its just a completely wireless AE2 node

You seem to not even be looking at the quest book lol With occultism, it actually TELLS you to use a mob swab on the possessed hoglin. Then with mystical agriculture, it walks you through how to get your saltpeter and which seeds to use. Also shows you a way to use AE really effectively with the setup.

It’s still fun to do things that are recommended. And if people do things the way you are doing it, then it’s the same argument of where’s the creativity in that. But the options are there and the quest book is a great way to get ideas as well. Whether you follow it or not

Any help with obtaining a bedrock block or crying obsidian? The recipe for me to craft flux dust uses crying obsidian instead of the 1x compressed obsidian, and I don't have a bedrock block either as I also have a cozy cottage island. Am I locked out of getting flux dust or am I missing something?

Looks like the latest update removed the ability to create flux dust with 1x compressed obsidian...the options now are Bedrock, Flux, Block ,or Crying Obsidian :(

Would anyone know why i cant do things like him? like make flux dust it don't work for me no matter the configuration i put it in yes i know how to do it, it just dont work. also cant craft stuff like the copy and cut thing like him do i have to start over with a new updated version of the modpack? i seen mine says from 6/4/2024 but there is other release dates up to 7/28/2024. Is there a way to update it or what happens if i download the new one? I also see that he has the draconic (At this point) mod but i dont???

I have been trying to not use the universal pipez, as it is said to be very laggy, but considering how easy it is to farm with this thing, I think I have to use it now. way better than using interface to put/pull item from the phyto

But I'm sure once you get those higher tier components, it'll be totally worth it! I'm gonna keep my eye out for that draconic integral component! Anyone know any fun modpacks that have a better resource farm and progression? I enjoyed most modpacks but relying on mystical ag and the same like 4 mods gets repetitive and kinda boring.

there are many expert level packs (like E2E, Divine Jouney 2) that have completely different methods of resource generation. Nomifactory is a good example. You use DML (Hostile Neural Networks) to generate basic stuff like iron, gold, copper, redstone, ender pearls, diamonds. And you use MicroMiner (a multiblock machine) missions to generate Ores in a void world which is then processed through gregtech. You can craft a creative tank at the end game where you use those creative tanks to print more tanks and then use those tanks to passive hundreds of different resources and passive all od their sub components, circuits, sensors, emitters which are all needed for the final goal of the pack. It's quite a complex pack, but all the manual grind is removed so it's a really fun and addictive pack

can you show super factory manager, it is a very good automation mod, yes it is programming-esc, it is a very useful mod, it can do fluids , energy , items, and mekanism gasses/slurries; it can take / input to any side for energy you must have the cube set to push-output on the side you use. forge_energy:: - you need the two colons; fluids:: again the colons are important items - does not need specified it is the default basic automation program is press tab, instead of typing tab. name "test" every 20 ticks do tab-input forge_energy:: from cell_1 top side //(you can also specify slots - to inspect the slots with ui open prss ctrl+i ) tab-output to machine tab-forget //very important to specify forget after every input block; tab-input fluid:*:water from tank_water tab output fluid:: to machine tab forget tab tab input seeds from seed_storage tab output 1 x_seed to each machine tab forget tab input from machine slots 3-6 //##(use ctrl+i to get proper slot numbers) tab output to interface tab forget end as you can see it is a simple advanced mod, but don't forget to label the blocks in world using the label tool, JEI info tab is a friend.
