Broo this is SUUUCH a sick video I'm vicariously living my is350 owner ship life with this vid. Love how you showed how the lip was installed and the program to turn off DRL absolutely mint! Liked**
Do you know any mods, to speed up the shifting ? I mean you pull the paddle, and 2-5 sec later it shifts... On the ISF its instant, and i believe, its just a software thing.
ISF is the much better 8 speed ZF box, one of the first cars the use it I believe, now popularised in many modern cars over a DCT. Where the Is250/350 is just a 'good 6speed auto' for fuel economy and luxury..
@@brent1835 it was an in house gearbox from what I've read in the past it's not a dual clutch it's a normal torque converter that has full lock up after 2 gear when mashing the go faster pedal
love your tree fiddy bro. Makes me want to get more mods on mine. I want an exhaust so bad lol. I am thinking about doing the airbox mod to drill a hole. have you seen guys doing it? got any tips on size and placement? i want the most flow and sound. i love that deep roar from the fsport box
I assume the wheels are R716 18x8.5 front and 18X9.5 back My question is what size tires did you put on them and do you have any spacer? any Rubbing? Thank you and great video!!
J Grant Many IS owners have this problem including myself, go into your dealership it might be under warranty still , I have an 09 currently waiting on them to be shipped and then I’m getting new a dash .
I figured this is more a montage of all the mods so I focused more on music and clips, and not really focused on the talking. All the videos have full versions on my channel for more info
your screen digitizer has gone wrong I had the same problem was quoted at the dealer “that I needed to replace the whole head unit quoted over 1500” got it fixed for $150 3 years warranty.
All that money and you could’ve just bought a 2012 with f sport package. I’m gonna be letting mine go soon starfire pearl 74k miles if anyone’s interested
JoaKing Z I like my F sport with a resonator delete but the DNA Motoring wasn’t bad. Invidia Q300 is well known, same with Manzo and Megan racing exhausts
Stock numbers are engine horsepower which is different than wheel horsepower. With the 25% drivetrain loss, it’s calculated at 253 wheel hp stock. I got 274hp to the wheels, which means whatever I’ve done has added wheel hp, and makes the engine closer to 330hp.
@@MartyMotoring Hi Marty I saw a set of vland headlights and tails combined for like 700 on ebay. Just keep an eye out. I had tails on my ISF and they were awesome. Sold the car last year and bough a RCF
KB L Nice! That’s a good deal. I have the tails now, got them for a deal a while back. I’ve had these headlights since 2017 and they are great. Running Auxbeam RGB bulbs and I’ve heard mixed reviews with the VLANDs headlights. So I probably won’t be buying new headlights for now lol
Marty, looking to upgrade my suspension, just curious-why did you go with the shocks/struts vs coil overs? .I want to drop my front down about 1” or 1.5”. The gap between tire and fender in front is 2” and the back is 1.25”. What do you suggest? Thanks
At the time I did it for simplicity and cost. Now I’m running coilovers and they are a little better overall. If you don’t care about adjustment or ride quality, springs are fine!
Hope you don't mind some frank assessment of your situation with the IS350. Seems like you did a lot of unnecessary mods but never took care of the basics like fixing the check VSC light. This must have been a constant niggle in your mind thus spoiling your overall enjoyment of the car and never letting you be fully satisfied in your IS350. I suspect that constant dissatisfaction played a part in your final decision to sell your car. I always try to abide by the maxim : basic fundamentals first and the basic fundamental in enjoying your car ownership is proper maintenance of your car. Hope you don't repeat the same mistake with your next project car.
I fixed it like a month later with a new wheel bearing assembly. Car drove the same but the light was off. I wanted to sell it anyway, as I made the decision a while back and was working towards that point. Was time to move on. I always take car of the basics first, so I can enjoy it stock. Lots of people don’t though. My cars usually have everything in perfect working order because I’m OCD lol
I cant believe you put that sensen garbage on a Lexus. I bought a set for my beater prius and when they arrived i wouldn't even consider mounting them. One was only half filled with oil and collapsed halfway thru the stroke. Btw the track should spray a water box for you to burn out in. If theres none I wouldn't even burnout, too much traction you risk wrecking the drivetrain.
The Sensen have held up over the last 2 years but definitely not as good as OEM being a cheaper aftermarket part. And I did hit the water box that day lol it was before I knew how to do a burnout in it. Open diff results in a one wheel peel a lot, unfortunately
Well it was $10,000 about 3 years ago. And mine is worth about $7500 now. Many parts I got discounted, sponsored or were just cheap. I am barely modded compared to most Lexus IS lol. You never get the money back from mods.
