Why in the hell do people in these "person turns invisible" tales never try to touch people who can't see them? That would be the first thing i did! or grab a pen and write "I'm here! ➡" on some paper and just walk around with that.
@@phastinemoondoesn’t quite work when she stops exhibiting rational behavior, like the fact that she wants to be seen or acknowledged but she won’t try to touch one of them or write a sign, it just makes the writing stupid, if she had tried to and couldn’t touch people then it’d be a completely different situation
@@phastinemoon and today you learnt why "suspension of disbelief" doesn't work unless you've got decent writers... or the viewer is a giant idiot. Former applies to you I'm guessing
@@jameskinder891definitely not just invisible. Her entire existence is not visible to anyone else. Like she is in a different dimension or something lol.
I'm flabbergasted at how she acknowledges something is up but keeps questioning it. She knows they can't see her which is why she's telling them and yet she's still questioning if they can't see her. She doesn't even try to touch anyone
Because she has trouble accepting they can't see her. Can you not understand that? How would you just go: "Oh, apparently no one can see me! Okay, then. Let's try something else." No, your mind won't be able to comprehend something so unbelievable.
@@plumdutchessmost of the people in the internet doesn't have common sense and doesn't know what their brain and body will react to such things if you ask me if i couldnt be seen tomorrow i will think they are making a mean joke or i will freak out
@@bluefire995 Ok that's just rude. I do know how I will react. I said this in my other reply but I experienced this when my brother and our mutual friend decided to troll me and I did not stand still and repeat myself 3 times. Also most people on the internet definitely have common sense. Problem is your idea of common sense is just that. Your personal interpretation. In some parts of the world, lgbt+ is commonly accepted whereas in others it is met with the death penalty. Both are "common sense" technically. We can argue about what is logical and not all day and that's what we're doing. My opinion is that this feels inhuman. It freaks me out. It is literally that meme of the definition of insanity. But there's no need to throw shade over a simple disagreement. You don't know me. You've seen one comment from me and decide I must be a weirdo. That's not how you discuss with people. If anything, you're the one acting weird on the internet. You wouldn't say that if the person was standing right next you you I hope. We could just be kind to eachother and have fun discussing our differences in interpretation y'know?
@@VitaeLibra I get the rudeness to you part, but the rest was so out of pocket. Besides the fact it was slightly aimed at you, they have a point. But so do you, it's an opinion, and it depends on the person. Going off of what they were pointing out, I agree with it. So many people ignore the fact that others react to things differently, so immediately hate on it or the actor, which is dumb on soooo many levels. And there are a lot of comments proving that on this post alone. It gets annoying really quick. especially because nine times out of ten, when you try to explain it, it ends up in the dumbest argument. So they were definitely right about most of the internet's pov on things, but I agree they could've handled it better
The funny thing is, this has literally happened to me as a woman in a male dominated workplace. I say something. Noone reacts or responds. A minute later a guy says exactly the same thing, boss immediately goes "Hey, that's a good idea". It's like being in the twilight zone and it's so crazy, you can't believe it happens until it happens to you.
Yes! I got a taste of it this summer when I was part of a 9 day group tour in Morocco. I was the only non-white person. The tour had a mix of guided and self guided activities, but the self guided activities were essentially done in smaller groups by tour members which was precisely what I had hoped for. Since almost everyone was a solo traveller, I make friends easily, and I'm happy to do almost anything, I was confident I would fit in great. They were decent, fun people and everyone seemed laid back and friendly... It took me about 2 days to fully catch on that these people just couldnt hear my voice, lol. Unless someone else said exactly the same thing, it was like no one had spoken and as a black African, I had never experienced anything quite like it before, even as a woman. I realised I would not be a real part of the group and decided to start doing my thing, going off on my own and focusing more on engaging the tour guides. Next thing I knew, my silence and unexplained absences seemed to interest some of my fellow travellers. They were very nice and I really did enjoy the tour for the most part but I just wasn't one of them, I guess. It was very insightful. I really cannot imagine having to deal with it in a work setting, though... I think I'd have to resign!
I worked in a shop and we did watch repairs and I’d be eating my lunch and people would walk past the woman I worked with after she said she could do it walk out the back of the shop and give it to me the rude bastards and my friend would say oh I must be invisible because I have a vagina haha😅
Same thing I'm experiencing at work right now. I would put in the same amount of work and time as my male counterparts(sometimes even more) and my boss would play blind but if a male did same, he would be applauded, praised and sometimes compensated. So frustrating!
I literally have this happen to me all the time. I'm Filipina and small but idk if that is why. It's crazy. When I finally stood up for myself to a couple who cut me in line at the grocery store they screeched away in their car and flipped me off as I walked out as if they thought i was trying to race for time. I wasn't I just wanted my spot for once.
Man if I was invisible I’m getting me sum money from ppls purses, getting all my gaming supplies somehow, and finna mess with my friends thinking they haunted😂
When you see a beautiful white you say “ she is the most beautiful white woman “ ??? Why always trying to separate blacks people with other people??? Just say she is one of the most beautiful that is .
Seperating blacks and whites and mexicans is fine in situations for this. She is the most beatiful black girl and then someone else is the most beatiful white girl and someone is the most bestiful mexican girl and someone is the most bestiful indian.
Dude the first scene actually happened to me - but I was invisible because I was black. It doesn’t feel good. I just kind of froze. An older white lady saw the whole thing and quietly came up to me and said: “my dear people can pin a label on you, like this” and she touched my shoulder “but you don’t have to wear it” I never forgot that. I wanted to hug her.
Reminds me of another movie, forget the name but basically a woman no one could see would take advantage and get pictures of celebrities and sell them to tabloids.
This woman happened to be ignored on purpose. This makes me sad to see her being so lonely and who doesn't understand why she deserves better. Its like being in a nightmare in broad daylight.
If i can be like her only like twice a week, ill be a happiest person in the world, im so tired with ppl sometimes so being invisible is the least i can wish for
“ Based on a book of short stories by Cecelia Ahern, this genre-bending anthology series weaves together eight darkly comedic feminist fables that take unexpected approaches to subjects like gender roles, autonomy and identity.”
@@ProzacStylings It's funny how you people just have no idea what feminism is anymore. Just because there are some people with extreme ideology who call themselves that. Most people in the world are feminists. It means believing in equality between genders.
Reminds me of a movie from decades ago - Siesta. Sometimes people see her, sometimes they don't. She wakes up in a field without her purse or passport, and embarks on a weird journey meeting weird people along the way. Some people see her some people don't. Eventually she winds up in a farm with her lover, and his wife runs in and stabs her to death. She had been dead all along.
I had this happen to me once in World of Warcraft. Nothing and nobody could see me, mobs would reset after I attacked them. So I had fun running around enemy cities and messing with people. Good stuff.
This movie resonates in a way with Hollywood movies, such as The Ghost (starring Demi Moore), The Others (starring Nicole Kidman), etc. You can watch their trailers here on RU-vid.
That's the thing, if she was invisible people would hear her voice as well. But that's not the case, I think it's like whatever she touches becomes invisible too and people can't hear her either, basically people can't see or hear her, or anything related to her like what she's holding or what she's wearing
@@wilinafranklin5903 Yes but when the pick a new a used name it usaully has some meaning to the movie, Roar in the keltic show refered to their battle cry. What would Roar mean in a show about an invisible ghost? Scream would have been more meaningful for this show. Havenot seen this show but i figure if it is a ghost story the show would then be about redeeming herself to move on. If it is not a ghost story but a weird power she some how got, then the show would be about either finding a cure or control then use it for spying or crime fighting thats what all those kinds of shows do, which still doesnt give it a reason to name the show Roar. If somewhere in the show they do give a reason for the title could you text it here so i could know it. Thank you.
@@lonknight3197 I mean, Roar is also the name of a Katy Perry song, and the subtitle to a spinoff of Thundercats (Thundercats: Roar!). You can't copyright common words, so it's possible for two unrelated shows produced in different countries to coincidentally have the same name. Just like Avatar is the name of the James Cameron movie with the blue aliens and a smash hit animated tv show.
