I completely understand the frustration of some of the voices here complaining it's all becoming too heavy but as as a designer/developer working on rather large/more complicated projects with design systems, I highly appreciate all these changes because it's making my work more consistent and maintainable. So thumbs up. And those who don't want to use these feature can simply skip them. The UI didn't change in a way that would be make doing simple tasks more complicated 😊

Great round up video! It's good to see breakpoints approach here being talked about. Question: What number scoping should line height have? It seems to only work when 'show in all properties' is selected? Is this a bug? Would've thought this would be 'width & height' or under additional property?

One option I believe is to use the Tokens Studio plugin. You should be able to sync that plugin to your stored variables and you can export from that plugin. Might be some standalone plugin options as well

Looks like "Shift + click" is not working for combo boxes (textfield with dropdown) which is the case for frames with with auto layout applied. I would expect that shift+click would still work.

The last section was looking at how you can bind boolean variables to show and hide layers and binding strings to the variant names to switch between variants. Both of these are most commonly used in prototyping.

I love Figma but this is a missed opportunity when it comes to gradients. Why nest the stop colors? Why can I not use variables as stops? Why not allow me to edit gradient stop colors via 'Selection colors', same as all other colors?

This seems needlessly complex compared to something like Axure. Yes, Figma’s UI is worlds easier than Axure, but with Figma’s attempt to include things like variables for prototyping, it feels like their interface is being heavily weighed down and losing its initial advantages.
