Im a kerry fan we had our chances and missed them so fair them to Dublin for punishing us. I watched the game back and Gough had a very good game in fairness to him. He tried to let the game flow. How can u say he made the wrong decision against Cork? It was definitely a goal scoring chance for Geaney who also had a free man with an open goal. U cannot say that was the wrong decision it was 100% the correct decision.
Both sets of fans booed Gough, who to be honest had a pretty good game. I'm more worried about the mentality of the gobshites that were throwing full bottles of Carlsberg down the Hill when Paddy Small scored his goal. A serious injury could have happened.
It was a good game not a great game, as a Dublin supporter I go to the games to enjoy the day out and support the team, win lose or draw we see players from all counties try give their all, they're amateurs so no matter what for people to criticise or abuse them are not supporters no matter what county you're from, well done Dublin, hard luck Kerry... Roll on next year
Look, Dublin don't react to any oppositions scores. If youwant to talk about misses Con O'callaghan should have got that goal that came off the cross bar, and Manion could have put it in the net instead of taking the point at the end, also Dublin's misses in the first half. Take away Kerry's goal, down to Clifford, and they had four points, a lapse in the Dublin defence. If you depend on the what ifs you are lost. O'Shea as a pundit was honest and said Dublin were the better team and their scores were easier to take were Dublin's. To expect Clifford to score every time is not fair to him, he's brilliant but so is Mannion and Cluxton and McCarthy and anyone you care to mention on both teams. So what happened last year Dublin could easily have won but Kerry did, so accept it Dublin won this year. Looking for what if will get you nowhere.
clifford still had a good game set up a goal annd got 4 points Fitzsimmons was good ofc but Clifford won loads of ball in secind half just had poor shooting still played good and people saying had him in his pocket he was smoked all this crap like thats a load of bs do u agree
I didhnt think dara moynihan sure he didhnt score but he plenty if energy and did some great runs and sruff and git the ball to kerry players idk why he was taken off
There's not major surgery required at all. They have a good age profile to improve naturally and at this moment Id say theyre probably favourites for next year
Dublin won because they scored more than Kerry. They weren't necessarily the better team on the day but that's largely irrelevant - Dublin scored more. Unfortunately for Kerry they kicked too many wides. I don't think the ref had a very significant impact on the result.
Like yourself I didn’t give the Dubs a hope this year. Was sure Mayo would win in the QF. But Jayus it was probably the best Dublin AI win for the last 12 years. Even sweeter that Kerry left it behind them. And that it was Kerry that Dublin beat.
