Emily is not unique. We all know women like this is our own families. Grandmas, mamas, sisters and aunts who have low self esteem and are afraid of being alone. I agree 💯 that Emily could easily be a friend or family member in our lives. What’s even more sad is that these women we know make their loved ones listen to their toxic, heartbreaking, abusive relationships and still STAY! When their loved ones give them advice that they choose not to listen to, the loved ones are accused of not only being unsupportive or unhelpful, but even sometimes accused of being jealous of their sad relationships. After giving out advice that’s simply wasting their breaths and time, the relationships between their loved ones are strained and they end up looking like the bad guys for trying to help. I’ve seen it time and again what choosing a loser of a man does to the people around them. It alienates their loved ones sad to know that the drama of toxic 🍆 breaks up family and friendships over a guy. To know that the woman chooses that guy who’s cheated, never chosen them, never claimed them, physically & emotionally abused them, and took advantage of them, over their own people (flesh & blood), who’ve only loved and looked out for them, is all too COMMON with a majority of women. These women that choose heartbreak over real ❤️ need to know that these guys will always choose themselves over the them. And they’ll never find true love and respect until they start to love and respect themselves first. F*6k struggle ❤️. I’m not saying the man must have 6 figures and be superficial but SHEESH! These “nursemaid”-type women need to start valuing themselves to a higher degree and stop asking for the bare minimum in their criteria of men. As someone with a friend who’s going through similar circumstances, I can say from my POV, that women like this has had enough once their plate is full. There’s no amount of talking to them, therapy or dating other ppl that will make them say they had enough. You just have to let them be and pray they don’t get murked by their significant other

We need to start holding these rappers accountable for being abusive and stop letting them slide because we like they music. Majority of these rappers got anger issues. I’m always hearing about them in some kind of assault allegations when it comes to women. I don’t support any artist that has been abusive towards women. Dr Dre was the first cancel one for me. Soulja boy, Tory Lanez, NBA Youngboy, Sheck Wes, Famous Dex … and the list goes on. And these women need to stop seeing dollar signs and start loving themselves. These dudes ain’t nothing special. It doesn’t matter how pretty/handsome, benevolent, compassionate, intelligent, “ride or die-ish” you are it does not guarantee that your partner will treat you right if they don’t want you or respect you. You can’t force them to. You love them into doing it. You have to accept it for what it is. That goes for friendships & family as well.
