I feel a little lonely gardening by myself sometimes, trying to figure stuff out without a mentor, and I find it encouraging to see what other gardeners in my zone are up to every month. Thanks for the update. I enjoyed it.
everything sounds great, I grow sweet potato slips the same way about two years ago and I had and awesome out come and the seed variety's you mentioned sound great I started some flower seeds and herbs as well
I have been watching your videos for a while. Love how you cook the vege, Asian household here! I was in zone 6b, then the usda decided to change my zone to 7a, due to warmer climate in 2023. So we are in the same zone now!!
I love this time of year! Onions, cabbage, stevia, peppers, eggplant, petunias, snapdragons, stock & vinca have all germinated in the basement. Lettuce, broccoli, Moringa and okra are next.
You inspired me to try the green magic broccoli last year, and I'm trying the purple magic as well this year. Hopefully it does just as well. I'm in 8b, so I started my peppers and eggplants a few weeks ago. Thanks for the video!
This is the year I’m hoping to be successful with bok choy. Going to do them indoors as starts much like you. Just not as early since you are way ahead of me frost wise. 😅
Yes, i direct sow them outdoors! I'm actually planning on doing that in the next week or so. Sometimes they don't sprout until March, but the plants always do very well since they're already acclimated to the colder weather.
