If I remember correctly the crownguards have royal ancestors. It was either a daughter of the king who married into the family. Or the crownguards began with like a second son of the king.
Correct, the Crownguards are high nobility. Their lineage has always been charged with the protection of the king and royal family. If Lux was royalty Garen would not consider marrying her to Jarvan IV. Necrit really should be more careful about details.
Love how Lux and Morgana have always been compared in game (light and dark bindings, both have an AoE damaging skill, morg w and lux e, and both have shields also made with their dark and light) and now that gameplay similarity is becoming lore similarity. Luxanna is becoming Morgana 2.0
Fiddle would be a like those Secret Bosses from the old games. Doing a suspicious side quest or a really long fetch quest to get an item that looks pretty common and boring, but actually is the "key" to get access the hardest encounter of the game.
@@dneeht374 Sylas’s fears would be delicious for Fiddles. Just imagine running away with all the mechanics you learned, dodging demonic crows left and right with the occasional cleave from the demon’s scythe, and then you finally win (survive) with the help of morgana or a fucking cave in

Crossing fingers that because of this game, many of these champs FINALLY come into legends of runeterra! For example: the rock that held kayle and Morgan's blades is a card called: falling star. It's in targon and has a stun effect on it! We get follower cards and maybe even a BOAT for her and kayle as well woo! This hopefully means that fiddlesticks, who was teased in pulsefire lucians splash art in the background, is finally added in! Super crossing fingers for sona! she's also in so many massive skin lines including her amazing DJ skin! Xin xao can also be a cool addition
And of course sylas, don’t forget him! With the newly added capture card for Demacia, pretty much out of nowhere, it makes me think maybe Sylas will have some sort of synergy with all the capture cards in Demarcia. (Maybe that’s why tham kench got rotated?). Possibly, sylas’ thing could make it so when he captures a unit, he gains the unit’s flavortext or something? That’d be so awesome.

You forgot that Galio, indeed is in this story, in fact he is called by lux to fight Sylas when he comes back from freljord, we have a cinematic, and skin line and a story-text, to this part of the story, Galio it can appear in the game but it should be a statue, much has to happen, to him come to a fight

It would be cool if they put Fiddlesticks as an easter egg or like have a surprise cameo at the ending of the Mageseeker, like after Sylas defeats whoever the final boss is, he'll appear suck everyone's soul XD

There are some big mistakes in a part about Kayle and Morgana battle. That was not Kayle magic that killed people, it was both sisters mage using collateral damage. Also want to point that Kayle was enraged because many people rioted as well and she wanted to punish rioters(And seems like Morgana did nothing to explain situation to Kayle) From Kayle bio: "Kayle returned to find the people rioting, and Ronas dead. Consumed by rage, she looked down upon the city, and summoned her divine fire to cleanse the city of its sins. Morgana flew up to meet her, raising her blade. If Kayle was to purge the darkness she saw in mortal hearts, she would have to start with her own sister. The two battled across the heavens, each matching the other’s terrible blows and striking the buildings beneath them to rubble." Also it is nowhere stated that Kayle considered her father sinner. It was Morgana's question to Kayle when she was in rage and cried see her dying father. "She cradled her father, cursing their inheritance for the destruction around them. Kayle landed, dumbstruck, and Morgana demanded to know if the smiting of wicked mortals included Kilam, whose crime was stealing them away from their mother. Kayle gave no answer, but soared into the heavens without looking back." Also Kayle actually cried because their father death and stopped battle as well, so she prob not considered him as sinner. From Canticle of The Winged Sisters: "In Morgana’s face, Kayle saw herself reflected; Celestial glory marred by mortal passion. She cried with loss and spread her wings, to Targon’s light and realms beyond." Comparing Kayle and Morgana story with current Demacia is not really good as well, because both sisters dislike current Demacia and mage opression.
I'm honestly still hoping they resolve this conflict without destroying everything what makes Demacia iconic (and cool for me). By that i mean their typical armour style, buildings and strong focus on honor. It would be cool if the mages situation gets better for them (with atleast some suspicions still existing). And Noxus getting an L for once would be even better.
This 100%. I had always understood the desire to make Demacia a more morally complex region to fit the new direction for Runeterra as a whole, but both the implementation and emphasis placed on the whole mage plot has always felt so cartoonishly dissonant when placed next to a cast of characters who were never originally written with it in mind. They absolutely MUST resolve this story in a way that ultimately justifies the older characters or else the lore is just never going to make any sense. Unless they want to redesign all of the old characters, which they won’t because they’re too iconic.
I'm the opposite, I kinda want to see Demacia fall from grace because of their phobia of mages and corruption and Noxus takes a opportunity to conquer that region. It would be intriguing to see Noxus using petricite against Ionia when the coup de tat ends.
The best way to implement Fiddlestick into the game would be a horror mission at the end of wchich you just run away from him because there would be no way even for sylas to defeat him
How is Sylas not redeemable, did i miss some bit of lore? Riot didn't even let him kill the king (or anybody really) and he had all the reasons to do so, Sylas is the Malcom X of LoL with the added gravitas of having been prisoned and tortured for many many years.
@@mesaru2185 Sylas has gone out of his way to murder tons of people, whether they be innocent or not. To join his faction you need to kill someone just to show that you can, and anybody who isn't a mage in Demacia is just another "cog in the machine" in his eyes, which is basically his justification for slaughtering innocents. Oh and he also killed a frost shaman who was trying to save his life and he seems to have 0 remorse for it.
@@mesaru2185 Sylas has killed multiple people for his cause. It is just like real life, he is definitely not the good guy, but i wouldn't say he is completely evil either. Its good story telling to be honest
@@lucastavares5103 I think the point is not having Morgana have an "I can fix him" moment and Sylas turning out to being the "hero" of the story, if they want someone for the players to root for it should be someone like Lux or Sona who represent the normal people that are caught in the middle of the conflict and just want to live their lives.
I know that Riot Forge confirmed, that "the mageseeker" won't be a rougelike but if it was, Galio would probably be the thing to end the run, or at least I hope he would be bc he's pretty cool, similar to dead cells, where you can defeat the last boss but then ur only option is, to go through the fountain to transition back to the beginning.
It should be a roguelike 100%. Sylas has the perfect power for it, and Riot forge needs to have a roguelike at some point. Maybe they will add a roguelike mode later on
It does not seem like they are gonna include any of his story including ”The Winters Claw” which I think is sad, especially since it ended with him getting an absolute W rizz on Thorva and I would like to see what happened to them.
I hope rito gonna make a story about what happen after the civil war and galio and xin are the main storyteller Galio story tell about the people and the damage after the war And xin story is about inside royal families and his promise with the king
By far the most lore accurate and fair description of Demacia and Kayle I've seen in recent years. I just hope the Mageseeker game conveys a fraction of the nuance and complexity in Demacia's lore just as you properly explained.
I feel like fiddlesticks would be a nice easter egg like maybe you wander into a field and there is a scarecrow and on a specific day it just vanished and once it comes back something is added to scarecrow
If Nocturne is in the game, then he could make a nightmare level featuring Sylas`s worst memories. Like the time he was abducted by the mageseekers or when he killed people on the farm. With Nocturne himself as the boss at the end.

An interesting way of using both Noct and Fiddle is use Nocturne where it is only in nightmare while he is asleep, he will escape ofc but he will use the same.method he escaped with noct with fiddle which will not work because Fiddle's power is manifesting in reality itself not in The nightmare realm

@@Bendzsike yet they still employ mages in their anti-mage force, the king loves a magical being, their "god" kayle uses celestial magic, most of the noble families have mages in their rank yet keep it secret, useful mages are kept free as long as they serve the city. and the best of all they claim to be the good guys when Noxus is more inclusive and show less nepotism than them. Yes they're huge magical racist but they are even bigger hypocrites
We could also see Quinn cause in her last story we know that she is not totally following the stone rule and she must Scout the forest to find maybe mages
And will be pretty if Jarvan or Shyvana finally say the love they feel for the other! Even, J4 can give an oportunitie to mages to be free and he can finally being with the most beautiful and missunderstood champ in all league of legends pool champ. :'3
Ive been playign league since 2015, ive seen that imagien at 3:18 a thousand times, ive watched 100s of lore videos about league. But i just put together the fact that the same runes that caused the rune wars are the same shit we use in game
To bw Honest I am Afraid and hyped of what will the Main Story of Demacia Will be. The Greath City is almost into Chaos. Meaning Freljordians and Noxians will take advantage of there Civil War. And if Sylas did Succeed on Taking The Nation of Demcaia Down Will he just be A Tyrant and conquer as Well. Yeah I am excited for this game.

Kayle didn't thought of her father as sinner. Kayle did what she did due to the rioters not because of Ronas. Morgana is taken by rage for thinking like that she doesn't actually antagonize her sister she understand her side. For the love of christ Necrit stop spreading your takes as granted.
