@@yvsdaddy6662 Back in the older season’s the lore actually nudged us into believing that the ruined king was an older guy. Don’t clearly remember what the descriptive words were used but I do remember that most people thought he was much older.
@@galio7741 Definitely not an elder man but yes and older guy than how he was depicted now. Like he was more considered a depressed guy more than a sadistic guy.
First off, viego would've been young when the letter was sent Second, even if the family accepted the letter, then vlad would've been rescued before he could learn hemomancy
@@averonisgaming9023 3rd of all as far as we know hemomancy (blood magic) cant revive people. It can heal them, change their bodies, make them live forever but not bring someone dead back
@@matusreis5746 Technically Sion can be considered somewhat, resurected... But he's more of an abomination with primitive conciousness, rather than a living person. But there is potential, perhaps whoever whoever put Sion together wasn't the best hemomage, perhaps a better result can be achieved. Also, Noxus really appreciates Sion being farily easy to control war machine, so there never was an intention of making him a living human, but rather intentionally making him into a bloodthirsty killing machine.
Fr, i feel like yoricks position in the lore is very gray, and needs to be elaborated more. Hopefully since he was in the picture he’ll get more stories
actually, if u see the interaction between viego and yorick ingame, viego sensed another presens and he said "yorick... and someone else. Isolde ?!" this gave me the idea that yorick's ult is actually a part of Isolde, as we all know she is split into pieces. cool thing to have in next lore i hope.
i mean, theyve supposedly been making a show or something for like a year+ now. was supposed to happen last year but got delayed cuz of covid. since then i havent even heard about the jinx and vi origin show
One thing I have really been wondering is what Kalista, Hecarim, and Ledros looked like when they were humans. We now have an image of Viego, Isolde, and Thresh, but not them. Also, to add on to that, it would be cool if just like in the Spirit Blossom event they make skins of them looking like they used to (as humans).
I hope that ledros is a new champ that pairs with Kalista. Then his release skin could be blessed along with Kalista. Ledros looks like an engage support that probably taunts an enemy and could have a similar buddy system where instead of cc it’s attack speed and on hit.
@@averonisgaming9023 Senna and Lucian are looking for help so they are traveling to Shurima to search for allies and in their way they encounter the sentinel of light that has been teased and also Gwen!!! At least that’s my theory
@@legoshirocha thats a pretty good theory but my point still stands that the next sentinal of light doesnt have to be shuriman. They can be a bilgewaterian for all we know but they just came to shurima
@@orheanustefan7841 i am aware of that image but it doesnt confirm that its shuriman. It could just be a person in shurima with the image showing that they are in shurima
In the 2021 season start video, they say that the reason why Spirit Blossom became so popular is because it is canon to the main lore. They also said that they will be doing that again, and it would probably an event about Ruination
@@queenmorganite2825 Oh god no, please, if he becomes a champion please don't make him a support as well. He would be the SECOND sword and shield fighter in the game, so him just being a support as well would be a massive waste.
I just realized, Yorick is the quiet kid who was bullied his whole childhood but became far more sucessful than his bullies as he now has: a loving wife, a heathy relationship and four kids, something us league players can only dream about but never attain.
I have a theory... What if the one who woke up Viego is... Mordekaiser? It was said that he will return someday, and maybe he just think that people are not that stupid to summon him and give him a new body twice in a row. So he wants to use Viego's madness and powers to retrieve his armor from the depths of Immortal Bastion, so that he will return to rule the world once again? He literally owns death, he could bring Viego to existence and promise him, he will return Isolde if Viego collect all her soul fragments... And that one of them is under Immortal Bastion. Just my thoughts under shower today :P
This is actually a huge theory right now. If you pay attention to the ruination cinematic, the mist appears over the bastion in Noxus, as in... Right over Mord's armor and death well thingy. More importantly, Mord's power is... UNGODLY, as in I think he would probably be the only being that could go toe to toe with the void ONLY because he has an immortal, ever growing army. We KNOW he can communicate from the death realm, because he already did it to come back the first time and since then, he has only grown stronger. The other thing is Mord KNOWS he can squash viego like a fly. The reality is Viego is massively weaker than Mord. The theory is for some reason or another either Thresh willingly worked with Mord, or Mord controlled thresh to help him wake up Viego to just get that mist moving. Mord then makes a 'deal' with Viego to get him back into the mortal world, and Viego accepts because he thinks either A) Mord deffintely wont betray him and will give him Isolde (Even though we all know Mord would be more likely to keep Isolde for power) or B) He thinks he can betray Mord and win in his own hubris, all while Mord is just interested in ALL OF THEM SOULS that Viego has, and the mortal world.
@@selvin-8105 Exactly. But to be honest, I think that from Riot perspective making this event (focused on Viego and Isolde) a Mordekaiser event is not what they usually do. And I don't think they will add another end of the world this soon. But if Viego fails, then Mordekaiser will not return and that way they can show him disappointed in his plan failing. Or just hint at something. Or just make Mordekaiser like Thanos in some post credit scene "Fine. I'll do it myself" :p
It all started with a badass light slinger chasing an evil scary wife stealer with a hook and a lantern. XD I am loving this story man I cant get enough of it. Thank you Necrit for this awesome story telling for our lazy bums XD
Imagine if, like the ruination skins Draven, Karma, and Shyvana got, we also got "Hallowed" skins thanks to Gwen "purifying" those corrupted by the black mist! We could see Kalista, Yorick, and maybe Maokai (or Viego???) returned back or reimagined to how they would look before being corrupted or if they were touched by Isolde's Hallowed Mist. That'd be such a cool concept for a set of skins and I could see them making an event out of it like Spirit Blossom!
I would really like to see you streaming the ruined king game when it comes out. You definitely are the one suited for it since you know the lore so well and it would be really fun
You should mention how the ruination might tie in with whatever is happening with mordekaiser and Leblanc since when viego activated a portal trough the old tower, maybe his confrontation would lead to mordekaiser being freed from the dimension he is being kept and will start the next event.
Iirc the ruination is the event that changed the blessed isles into the current shadow isles and resulted in all this mess. What the people of Runeterra know has the harrowing is when the black mist sporadically reaches out from the isles overseas to other places like bilgewater, essentially bringing a storm of curses and undead to other parts of the world.
Are you sure Ledros wont become a new champion? Or has it been conformed? Cause I will hope till the time it is confirmed, just imagine actually getting such a cool looking character with good story instead of your regular anime teen champion that I could not care less about.
The next new champ is gonna be a Yordle likely effected by the black mist, perhaps Yuumi's master Norra who went unexplainably missing as she explored various potentially dangerous locations on Runeterra, perhaps Gwen will encounter her and use her hallowed mist to recruit her as an ally
didnt they postpone the gloomy yordle in the leaked roadmap i swear i read something like that they postponed the midlaner and the next champ gonna be the marksman idk i could be wrong
Mr. Necrit can also make summary lores of genshin impact? I have been watching your videos for god knows how many years and I really like how you elaborate the events
Ledros is actually a good guy if he ever became a champ and his mind returned with all his love for kalista he would easily turn the tides to veigo's army and win the fight and have a peaceful life in heaven
Dear Necrit, if the whole cinematic series starts, are you planning to do videos on the episodes of that too? I think a lot of us would really enjoy those videos too. Much love, keep up the good work!
So basically, Viego is hunting for the pieces of his wife's soul in an attempt to bring her back again. And Gwen is basically her child since her power gave Gwen life. So both are searching for Isolde with opposing mist powers. Would be cool if, by the end of their lore, the light mist returns everything to how it should be. Ending the Ruination and returning those corrupted back to normal.
Okay some summaries and theories : Viego was not a good king and have many enemies, one of the enemies tried to assassinate him but got isolde instead, she was brought to the blessed isle where shit went down and turn it into the shadow isle, now the order of the light is fighting the mist trying to defeat viego and his brethens. Viego's side (black mist) : viego, thresh, hecarim, maybe karthus since he's insane, kalista Isolde's side (hallowed mist/order of the light) : isolde, gwen, probably maokai since he's good, senna, lucian Theories : 1. Since isolde is basically voldemort and has her souls in multiple people (senna, yorick's maiden presumably and gwen) i think she will help kalista by giving her soul and making kalista remember who she was before going full john wick on hecarim. 2. It's still possible that the black rose is the one who sent the assassin, even tho they're far away vladimir is viego's uncle.. meaning that he may know about viego's situation with isolde and can try to take the throne (cmiiw) and if you went through lol universe one champion that's interesting there is Mordekaiser, the founder of the immortal bastion in Noxus, where the black rose is.. where le blanc and vladimir are working together to what ends we still don't know.. Maybe it's a stretch but i can definitely see a connection between the black rose and the shadow isles 3. Gwen went to somewhere near Shurima to find 'ally' and i bet the new sentinel of light champion (ADC) is gonna be the ally she met along the way with senna and lucian I think the shadow isles problem will be resolved this year, either killing viego and stopping the ruination once and for all, trapping viego in thresh's lantern or weakening him enough so that the ruination can't spread far (i think this is more likely since they can't kill viego as a champion like how they murdered gangplank before). Also, after the ruination has ended and the shadow isles problem is done, it will be cool to see a cliffhanger where mordekaiser will be brought back to life from the aftermath of all the battle between black and hallowed mist, then the next story they can continue on next year is about how the black rose / noxus tried to stop mordekaiser from rampaging through their home Just my opinion, share your thoughts on what you think can happen. I hope Necrit replied to this XD
Considering Kalista's been in a tricky spot competitive wise pretty much constantly since her release, I wouldn't be surprised if Kalista got a full VGU that would fix her kit and have a Burning Tides esque tie-in with a Ruination event. Would work on a lot of levels.
You know what would be cool? If in the ruined king game theres a bossfight where its just Ledros and Hecarim duking it out and there only incidently trying to kill you
I wouldn't say I'm too lazy to read lore even when it's 3 sentences, but Necrit always adds few info and speculations which is way more fun. Not to mention that it is summarized in audio, and audio is better than reading :)
Tbh I hope if the Ruination event comes it can be something like Asencion or at least like the Ganplank event that changed Aram into the Butchers brigde (or however it was called) because I know sadly a PvE event is out of the question now, specially with The Ruined King game. I really want newest people to be able to experience all those old modes like Doom Bots, Star Guardian, Odyssey, Asencion, or that one mode about Project skins. League had almost 20 modes and only rotates 3
Well if there is an event I can only think one ending to the viego and gwen's story. Like if one side clearly wins some champions would need a rework so its ending probably end with viego being contained in the isles and the spread of the mist stops.
I think that on the image the hallowed mist will flow through the black mist and when it does there will be hallowed skins for all the champions on that image
A thrown, poisonous dagger? And a living puppet? Both things are mentioned in the lore about Camavor. That got me thinking about Shaco. In his lore he is a living puppet, that got crazy. And ingame he has poisonous daggers, he can also throw. Theorie: Maybe he is from Camavor and responsible for the failed assasination of Viego. Sounds this plausible for you?
I'm a little new to the lore game ( 4 months) so take this comment with a grain of salt. I have a wild guess after looking at the current champions, and the story going on that they might rework Kalista in the future, and make Ledros (her lover boy) a new character alongside with her. Maybe with the hallowed mist, the dark mist, or a separation of the two. I haven't played with Kalista in a while and I don't normally see her in games anymore. Plus her kit is a little outdated in my opinion and I can see a huge opportunity for riot to make an update her with current events going on. Love the content you create necrit!
oh necrit! In regards to Vladimir's letter, it's hinted at on twitter by one of the writers (Jared Rosen/notquitefrodo) that Vlad probably could have identified the poison Isolde was inflicted with, and told Viego how to save her from it, but because Viego shunned contact with him, he never knew and could never help
