When she turned 3, she said she wanted a "seestor". I told her to tell Jesus about it. At the age of 42, baby sister was born ! Realizing that He WANTS a deep relationship with me, in spite of how truly unworthy I am, blows me away every day. Having time to read and study His word has revealed so much to me about myself. Can you see and FEEL the message of Christ that is being shared here? I am not even a Christian, and yet i see and feel and know MORE from this, The Chosen series, than i ever have before. Christ is with you, do not look to his form, his body, the actor which is his VEHICLE for the message. If Jesus could turn to touch a lepur, he can embrace an image, jesus did not care about how people looked.

I thank God for how He is using Jonathan Roumie in the series The Chosen. Roumie’s portrayal of Jesus brings the humanity of Jesus to life rather than words on a page. I have heard the stories even as a toddler, but seeing so much love emanating from his eyes when he talks to people is breathtaking. I cannot wait to see that love on my Savior’s face. Thank you for an outstanding job on this program and to the actors

Would still really miss him though but I trust that the new replacement would do a good job of the portraying this character even tho he’s got pretty big shoes to fill!
@Danny Dolan when Matthew became a tax collector, this was a very shameful thing for a Jew to do so his parents disowned him, particularly his father. He later reconciled with them after following Jesus for a while and they begin to mend their relationship
Matthew is especially touching since my daughter and I are on the autism spectrum, too. The portrayal of Our Lord Jesus and the other Disciples are absolutely incredible. The best Gospel series yet by far. 🙏🏽❤️
Its amazing to see how the chosen is touching people in different ways! Matthew is one of my personal favourites too because I’ve kind of felt lonely and shunted away at school at times and when I see the character of Matthew, he perfectly resonates with me! God bless you!

Can anybody describe when Jesus called them to Follow Him?? I was 5’ish, and don’t have a specific memory of being specifically called. What I do have is my oldest, most enduring memory is wanting Him to live in my heart. That desire has never left me. ❤
