that copy paste blueprint realy helps with taking from content asset from the marketplace, since i always seem to break them without knowledge of what is the parent. This is very helpful.

Exactly what I was looking for. I've done some of these steps before but it's exactly as you stated there are so many things to do in Unreal that it's easy to forget how to do something. Thank you!

brilliant - well explained without overbearing music like many others' videos. also, the screen is clear and not blurred, and not like videos of other others.... you should create more

The fifth way describing how to copy blueprints is quite a redundant, and rather inelegant, way to go about it. There is no need for that middle step of copying and pasting the blueprint to a 3rd party tool, and then re-copying it from there only to paste it back into a new blueprint class. You can just copy and paste the nodes directly in the engine. Also, if you need a copy of the blueprint within the same folder, just select it and duplicate it (CTRL+D). Otherwise just migrate it like any other asset if you need it elsewhere, or in another project.

So I have music imported from a folder, but then accidentally deleted that folder. I grabbed a backup of my music, but it's in a different folder now. Is it possible to relink it somehow?

Anyone know how to “reference” unreal engine assets from a folder outside the project so they don’t add to the project folder size?

So, I am trying to get my project from another system which was made in UE5.1 to my system which has UE 5.0, the problem I am facing is, I can see the maps in the explorer but when I import the file I don't see the maps in my unreal anymore.

What are the differences between import and migrate? Are there differences?

there is a big problem in importing assets, they often lose their textures, let me explain, if you import assets EXAMPLE "ProjectXxX\Content\Assets\Meshes\Organic", the migration is done correctly, except that when we want to use the meshes, they automatically lose their textures and just become a greyish mesh... Why don't the assets keep their textures? is there an option to add on transfer or manipulation to do?

just sorted this out myself. Bring up your old project and your new project side-by-side. Go into the Outliner of the old project, grab your assets (select 'em) right click copy, go into the outliner of your new project/level and right click > paste. For me I'd already migrated the assets into the content folder before hand, not sure if this made the process easier. Edit: yes, migrate everything first so it has access to textures and materials, then copy paste.

Yes you can, you can also copy/paste each variable beforehand

Not 'all' the ways. What about transferring complete set of objects within a level/scene into another project. edit: just sorted this out myself. Bring up your old project and your new project side-by-side. Go into the Outliner of the old project, grab your assets (select 'em) right click copy, go into the outliner of your new project/level and right click > paste.
