Advisory 1: One sub-key points I missed out was the types of PCB-Mounted Stabs that the board could support. Whether or not you have screw-ins or clip-ins, please make sure you have a type that have thinner housings as thicker ones like Staebies or QMX may not fit through the included PP Plate. This goes for Womier SK75 owners as well since these two boards are pretty much identical except that Womier offers more plate options but still, I do advice you to check if your plate can support the fittings of your pcb-mounted stabs. Durock V2 & Akko Screw-In Stabs should be compatible as they can fit through standard plates with plate-mount cuts for plate-mounted stabs. if you happen to own the INKY75 or SK75 and have PCB-Mounted stabs installed, comment a reply about the brand you are using. Advisory 2: After some further research, I've concluded that the Matcha Buttermilk/SPM OEM switches featured in the INKY75 are actually HMX Gravel. So for the price of $69-$89, you're also getting high quality switches manufactured by HMX. I've always wanted to try HMX switches but was never aware these were from them lmao.

is this switch better than hmx violet overall? (particularly rainy75)
@kayoriskeyboards
@kayoriskeyboards 28 дней назад
@@abgiman6311 I'm not sure as I've never tried the Rainy75 or the HMX Violet switches. These switches featured in the video are technically my first HMX switches.

There are so many of these from the same manufacterer showing up! This one looks exactly like the Womier SK75. I am definitely not mad at it. What a great time for people to buy a prebuilt aluminum keyboard. I'm honestly pretty jealous because very plain plastic boards that required extensive modding for the same price was all many of us had when we joined the hobby.
@kayoriskeyboards

Yup it is indeed from the same manufacturer. I did realize it while making this video due to the amount of content of the sk75 popping up haha.

I got mine and noticed the tips of the metal contacts on switches were blackened. Did yours come out fine? I'm scared to replace switches because their contacts might darken too. Not sure what's caused them to go black when I just got them brand new.

I'm using the Logitech G Pro X Superlight. From my experience, it's a pretty good mouse for gaming but since I have the first generation, it only supports 1K Hz Polling and uses micro-usb

ok so i managed to get my hands on this exact color because i found it for $48 shipped and was not expecting anything special. boy am i surprised those "matcha buttermilk" switches are too smooth, i was comparing it to my xinhais and v2us and was thinking woah this is some HMX level smoothness and viola, i took a keycap off and found out that they are HMX Gravels lol no wonder it sounds clacky! the finish of the kb is meh, it's too rough for my liking but ill take it. best $48 spent on this hobby

Better than the 'Rainy75' keyboard or quite similar? Or what can you tell me about your experience with it?
@kayoriskeyboards
@kayoriskeyboards Месяц назад
In terms of specs, they're pretty similar considering they're manufactured by the same OEM. But I'd go for the INKY75 over the Rainy75 simply because of its price. In case the INKY75 is not available in your area or if shipping prices are expensive, you can also consider taking a look at Womier's SK75 as theyre pretty much the same. As for customer services; From my understanding, WOBKEY's customer service is horrendously bad. So choosing Elecfox or Womier would be a better option if you require customer care.

Definitely the INKY75 in terms of quality and price. The Aula F75 happens to also be really great budget plastic prebuilt if that's what you're looking for. - I actually have a review planned for the AULA F75 however due to time constraints, the video is just in my backlog drafts at the moment. At some point I will make a review about it and probably compare it between aluminium boards like the INKY75.

Yo, it’s been a while. The white one looks very similar to my white bridge75. The sound is so clean from what I’ve heard. The budget board market is absolutely wild now!

IKR! This year's keyboard market is definitely going be another great one. All that's left now is a few more features like the ball-catch system.
@TheBigGiant_SpaceChiken
@TheBigGiant_SpaceChiken 2 месяца назад
Good review! The only thing IMO that is missing from the board, is a ball catch system to take it apart. That is slowly becoming popular in boards at even this price range.
@kayoriskeyboards
@kayoriskeyboards 2 месяца назад
I totally agree with you, perhaps ball catch or magnet latches are the last thing to get people sold on this
@WyattOShea
@WyattOShea 2 месяца назад
Could you explain what that is to someone that has never heard of this before?.
@kayoriskeyboards
@kayoriskeyboards 2 месяца назад
@@WyattOSheait's essentially a catch system where one end has a pair of metal balls that are kept in place by springs, the other end gets caught in between the metal balls in other words catching it. It's normally found in furniture but it's been growing popularity in custom keyboards. This makes disassembly a convenience.
@WyattOShea
@WyattOShea 2 месяца назад
@@kayoriskeyboards I see. So do you just push the spring/ball in and things get disconnected like that?. I think I've had a couple things over the years with something similar where you pushed the ball in to either extend something or to disassemble it quickly but I'm not too sure if that's a similar (or the same) system.

Anyone know what the polling rate is and latency when in wired mode?
@kayoriskeyboards
@kayoriskeyboards Месяц назад
The board's polling rate is 1,000hz. While I don't have the proper software to test its latency, you can refer to Thoccnology's review of the SK75 as it's basically the same as the INKY75. So the latency should be about 9-10ms

It's actually a straight rip of the SK75 by Womier
@kayoriskeyboards
@kayoriskeyboards 2 месяца назад
They do share similar designs but they're not the same boards. They are however from the same manufacturer (supposedly so correct me if im wrong). This goes for many brands like the Womier SK75 that was mentioned. slightly off-topic but from my understanding they're all produced at the same time. Release dates will depend on the companies itself due to factors like shipping time from the factory to the brand's warehouses. In this case, Womier managed to do it first and release it earlier than Elec Fox.

@@kayoriskeyboards as far as i understand, rainy 75, womier sk75, bridge 75 are all extremely similar and manufactured by the same entity.
