Dirk, Duncan, Bird etc... To think there are so few players who actually stayed in the same team that drafted them, but they are like HoF'ers (or future) every time, so no wonder teams wanna keep them! There are also players who wanted to stay couple of years before retiring but the front office did them real dirty, only Ewing comes to mind atm... But hey it's business, and nowadays primadonnas swap teams the second everything goes badly, which is just disgusting... and I don't understand why getting a max or a starting role is the most important thing in the world, how about this: LEARN TO BE HUMBLE AND LOYAL?! Dumbasses like Harden will never win a ring because they are too lazy to help anyone rebuild, then he gets fat every summer because of partying and thinks somehow he has been robbed an MVP couple of times... 😂
And Drazen played in the Golden Era where NBA defences were brutal - making his 5th all time 3 point % all the more impressive when compared to modern players
This guy has a great voice and these videos are very well written. I haven’t watch basketball since 2000 when I was five. These videos make me want to start watching basketball. Thanks for the great videos.
Also I really enjoy your videos they bring me happiness because I learn new stuff every time you post people should really subscribe to learn about sports
Different eras and Bird didn’t reinvent the line. Bird averaged 1.9 threes a game that isn’t reinventing anything. I’m the biggest Bird fan but I’m also a realist. Bird had a 37.9% 3 avg for his career better than most. Ray Allen has a 40% avg and averaged 5.9 attempts a game. That’s a better avg. with many more attempts. Larry really was deadly and he made 3s in the clutch but they just didn’t really use the line like they do now. He told Reggie when he was coaching the Pacers he used to love to hit 3s late in the game to deflate the other team and are them feel like they couldn’t win. He told Reggie to do that too.
Larry was a mid range and close range god.. he had so much in his arsenal that he didn't just take 3's. Also the game back then was not prioritizing 3 pointers.
Best shooter depends on what you're looking for - but I doubt ANYONE contends that Wilt was the center, Bird was the Small Forward, Nash was the Point Guard, and MJ was the Shooting Guard. Power forward is a bit tougher - but likely Hakeem. Best at dunks? *yawn* no sensible basketball fan CARES, get to fancy and you start MISSING them.
I think this video should be titled, "The player with the most 3s from every NBA team". Please make an actual "BEST Shooter" video which does not dismiss older players only because the 3 was used less a few decades ago. The distinction is very obvious with the Celtics.
Were not going by 3 point contest contenders or winners, these are in game 3s. The line was there, the points counted, but we won't use the percentage of a player that shot two 3s a game. If that was the criteria, every white guy in the NBA not a center or PF would be on the list.
I’m kind of sad we don’t know who the people are that make each of these. When I hear this guys voice, I know I’m in for a good video. And he likes Lebron. Lol
I was honestly expecting Pistol Pete to be the jazz selection but I had to remember there wasn't a 3 point line until like the last 1-2 years of his career?
When it comes to Spurs, the Iceman George Gervin is the man I love Ginobili but the Iceman was the best, not as a Spurs player but he lead the league in scoring for three years averaging over 30 points.
You know what I appreciate this video cuz it is bringing some light to some things that we really didn't really think about God thank you man keep it up peace and love
No one can match kobe's unstoppable ability to make shots in the toughest defence like double team triple team or even the whole team bro would still shoot the ball in the hoop also Jerry west and pistol pete are also deadly from mid range and three point line
There are a LOT of players that were tough in the clutch and multi coverage. But Kobe was BAD about FORCING such shots far too often - which is why he is the NBA BRICK King (most misses of ANY player, and it's NOT close). 6 times LED THE LEAGUE in Bricks, 3 times Runner Up - and NONE of those seasons was he dominating scoring. Wilt on the other hand, in his first 4 seasons, DID dominate all scoring - and while he had the most misses in all 3, he LED THE LEAGUE IN FG% IN 3 OF THEM AND WAS #3 IN THE OTHER. He just TOOK that many more shots than anyone else!
So did I if I'm honest? He seemed like the only outside shooter those teams ever had outside of Donyell Marshall. Who it also kinda surprised me didn't get a mention, at least that I noticed
