Yeah and you are lucky the judges places Brez 9th in the elims and Rythmind had prepared only 4 rounds AND they fought against each other in first round otherwise one of these 2 would have lift the trophy again for France ;)
@@geromejean I believe it was robin that was placed 9th instead of brez. the supposed matchups were Robin vs Rythmind and Brez vs Bizkit, which would have been an absolute banger
Thorsen and Beatness have been forgotten and underrated lately. But I think they actually change the loopstation scene as we know it now. Hopefully Thorsen comes back to GBB, at least as a judge.
I thought I'd never feel the same level of hype as I did when I saw Saro murder the loop ever again when he became a judge, but then I got hit with the shock shock 😭 Saro vs Bizkit would be the most legendary battle ever if they brought their best. So-so still has the best vibe doe 😂
The way loopstation scene evolved in a decade is exceptional! It’s so interesting to see how it slowly goes from vocal-based looping to effect-based looping style. Thorsen was peak at vocal looping (also with cool effects like beat scatterer and repeater), Saro completely changed a game, and then Bizkit now showed the craziest effects possible with mk1. I can’t wait to see the future evolution with mk2 in gbb23!
*What a great decade* 2013/2014 was a purity 2015 was fun 2016 was an evolution (to the next level) 2017 was a legend 2018 was a soulfulness 2019 was a hype 2020 was a multiverse 2021 was a revolution(-ary banger)
Everyone said Saro and Thorsen Revolutionary Loopstation, but the real Revolutionary is definately Mr Penkyx... He starts all, without him, there is no ibarra, no Thorsen, no saro.......
I really don't like how they constantly cut right before the second drop. I mean you should already have listened to all of these because they're amazing artists, but i wish that they didn't cut the track like that.
For me 2019 is definitely the best year in loopstation. Rythmind blow my mind and the stage (Mic slap,Drums, Headshot etc etc) and he is become my favorite looper so far. But not just Rythmind. Everyone killin it. And I hope NME will back soon !
Really, what he did in 2015 turning Loopstation into music was something never thought of at the time, until today I can't understand how he didn't win that series. 😓
Still i cant believe that penkyx lost to madox Penkyx changed the loopstation competition for ever….from just “simple” loop to crazy electronic drops and sounds
