We bought the 2RS and we are extremely satisfied; especially because of the price and styling. We added the driver confidence package and all-weather mats. The only disappointment is the lane assist.
It does appear to indicate that. Where I saw it, it did say that was the price including all offers so possibly more incentives on Activ bringing them to the same price
I would choose the Activ because of the 8 way electric power seat with especially the lumbar! Do not like the 19” wheels on the 2RS. 18” wheels are the sweet spot for me for ride quality. Also do not want to “ beat a dead horse” but that teenie weenie 1.2 turbo has me concerned for long term coupled with that oil wet timing belt. Can anyone comment on that ? Love the car, the price but the above mentioned does have me concerned😕 BTW…thanks for the great video/review!!!
if this car along with the Envista turns out to be a very reliable long term car that can be driven at least and up to 200,000 miles with no or very few issues (like a honda or toyota) then this is a diamond in the ruff at a great price! Only time will tell
I have the 2rs and the reason I chose it over the Active is the flat bottom steering wheel and more importantly the red coloring and accents. I love the Active's power driver seat but the yellow accent color is ugly. And it doesn't have the flat bottom steering wheel which I love..
I have to say, I've never been much of a Chevy guy save for Camaro, Chevelle SS, and of course, Vette's. This Trax looks sharp to me. I'm still a Hyundai man, just for the warranty alone. That said, I'd look at a Trax no issue. I don't like the FWD only option though
If it’s not too late, don’t! That internal wet timing belt is already shredding engines at 36k mile. Maybe the worst decision I’ve ever seen by an American auto maker.
My pic for when my lease on my 22 Trax ends early next year would only be the Activ. The power drivers seat, power lumbar and mirrors are a must. I am actually surprised that the lower models do not have this feature.
I do not like all black interiors(including headliner) and the 2RS has that. So for me that trim level is out. I like the value and the rest of the package but I had an all black interior once and hated it! A well packaged LT would work as would an Activ, so those are what I am looking at.
The Activ is great, just higher priced than the 2RS without a huge increase in feature availability. From personal opinion also, the 2RS has the best overall styling inside and out, especially in Fountain Blue. Thanks for the comment!
See Chevy is doing a lot because now you have to remember the 1rs what happened to the three RS and wasn’t it LT what happened to the simple LTz premium can’t keep up nowadays
I don’t believe the steering wheels can be changed from the factory. If you were really set on it, you could probably order the parts from the service department and switch it out
