Solo goals, long shots, tiki taka goals, headers, free kicks, penalties, volleys, chip goals, tap ins, shots with no space, counter atack goals, rebound goals, nutmegging the keaper, falling to the ground, dribbling the keeper, dribbling the whole defence, dribbling the whole team... this man is unbelievable 🐐
It's the variety of his goals that really amazes me. Long range goals, tap ins, solo goals, headers, free kicks, penalties. Messi can literally score every type of goal!! He's truly the 🐐, if not at least the top 3
What you gonna expect from someone whose first UCL goal is a dribble over the goalkeeper. He really hinted he was gonna be something BIG from the beginning… 🐐
@@STORMBLAZE34a prime Ronaldo is scarier But Leo is probably better overall Though to me Ronaldo is the goat but speaking generally I can see why people would call Messi the goat It isn't unearned

@Netaji-The British Slayer I never claimed that Messi was the greatest of all time. Simply in the past 15 years. And I should watch more football of the older legends, I agree. :)
@@Nothing-lr3dt you are deluded; football became faster over time, but more technical is highly debatable; and fastness is just a component; Messi at 35 was a relatively slow player, and yet the best player in the WC alongside Mbappe; also Pele would be faster today then in his time due to the improved training methods; it's not more talented athletes today than yesterday, but better training methods
@@bogdanpopescu1401 i'm not deluded, i'm objective, i will be saying the same thing about Messi 50 years from now when football becomes a different sport
@@Nothing-lr3dt you don't understand how comparisons work and didn't addressed any of my arguments; and you are dead wrong in your example, Pele would still be competitive in Premier league today the way he played in 1970; 40 years old Ibrahimovic scored 34 goals for AC Milan recently.
@@metallicaandjustice1 thats not disadvantage that Cristiano is perfect athlete, mentally and physically, and he is rarely missing games. Second thing is fact that overally in their career Ronaldo faced MUCH MUCH more tough opponents and more games on high level
Real footy fans totally get you! It’s the way he dictates the build up rather than just getting in the end of a beautiful move that cuts him above from the rest
low center of gravity, velvety left foot, sees spaces where there are none, has eyes in the back of the head, kicks well even with the right foot, unprecedented precision, elegance, class, humility, respectful, brilliant at set pieces and much more...
Mi top UCL goals from Messi: 10. Freekick vs Ajax 2013 9. Amazing slalom vs Lyon 2009 8. Goal number 100 vs Chelsea 2017 7. Crazy sombrero to Almunia vs Arsenal in 2011 6. Astonishing goal vs Stuttgart 2010 5. Badass PlayStation goal vs Panathinaikos 2010 4. Solo run vs Madrid at S Bernabeu 2011 3. Unstoppable goal vs Arsenal to complete the póker in 2010 2. Destroying Bayern, Boateng + Neuer in 2015 1. Missile vs Liverpool 2019
So many memories man. These three moments in this chronological order is what defined him being the goat in my head, 4 goals against Arsenal, semi final el Classico ucl goal and boteng on the floor and neur chip. Goat
After the game in which he scored his 22nd goal, Wenger was calling him the greatest of all time. He now has more than 122. In other words he was being called the best ever when he didnt do one fifth of what he went on to achieve.
Every body is entitled to their own opinion, but for me he is the greatest footballer of all time. No disrespect to all of the other greats but I have never seen anything like Messi and to do it at that level for this amount of time is quite frankly absurd. Incredible.
Messi in 2018/19 is for me top 3 best performances of UCL history.. How he carried the team was insane.. vs. Olympique Ly, vs Totthenham, vs. Man. U and vs. vs. Liverpool.. The combination of good attack and bad defense in Anfield ruined that efford.
GOAT 🐐 real GOAT. He is 👽 that normal person can't be so perfect. He creates attack and finishes it. He is the mix of talant, skill, brain and hardwork. He definitely first and only one finished football by his personal and team achievements
Im messi fan but ronaldo really tried cux by 2012 messi already had 50ucl goals whilst ronaldo was way behind but now ronaldo is the all time ucl topscorer..unbelievable
He became a master in scoring at any position inside the box, shooting with the inside of his foot. His ball controll combined with simple dribbling made him nasty while in possession. Also, great game sense completed him by providing assists for his teammates. Football witnessed the best number 10 on it's history, besides Pelé.
I came here after watching Ronaldo's goals at UCL. I am glad I made a good decision because Messi's goals was better and had more variation. The only one G. O. A. T
An immense record, but you can clearly see the quality of the goals drop off after 2012. I don't know how he's scoring but there's not much purpose or effort after.
Messi's goal vs Man Udt in 2009 is one of the best headers I ever see. And is the goal in the most important match ever vs his rival Ronaldo. Messi wins the battle from 2009.
