Great jump but I'm horrified at the mass of concrete that his tailbone could hit on the way down. It's like .. ok kid .. you make it or break it! Your choice .. athlete or quadriplegic!
You’ve never ran track before triple jump measures all of the three jumps together, maybe why it’s called triple jump if you would acctually read anything before commenting
Shocked by how many people are clueless about the Triple Jump event. It's been in track and field forever. It's called "triple" jump because of three motions: Hop > Step > Jump
@@matthewdejoy-wm6mrHe jumped exactly where he should have. He's just not very strong. Different ages have a different starting point. In this case he may be jumping from the Men's Open board which he means he just barely makes it into the pit while much stronger athletes get much deeper. The board has to be far enough from the pit because some athletes will enter the sand on their step phase before even jumping.
@@matthewdejoy-wm6mr you're not wrong about that. It can be dangerous if you commit to the jump and don't make it. He should be jumping on the correct triple jump pit. For example my school used to have a junior and senior pit and movable boards for when interschools/zonals when really strong athletes were jumping. Maybe he's a senior and has to jump there?
I competed triple jump. It’s clear you never understood it. Takes a lot of skill, strength, and explosiveness. Tell me, what’s so stupid about it that you wanted to comment? I’m curious
@@christophersmith6015 a jump from one foot and landing on the same foot is a hop, one foot to the other is a leap. From one foot to two is an assemblé. So he did a hop, a leap and an assemblé and busted his ass. Technically there was no jumps involved so ur right 🤣
@@shingokill7363 he could have done that if he didn’t start the jump so soon is he supposed to be able to clear a certain amount of the run way or something cause he could have timed his jumps so he made his second jump at the edge of the sand
The distance isn’t impressive but his technique is pretty good which is actually hard to get down. It’s one of those sports when done by a professional looks really easy but once you try it it’s really difficult
Only secret is posture ! Jyada elevate hongey toh distance Kam hoga! Ask your coach or ask someone experienced ! Kamarse jitna jyada jhukego utna distance Kam hoga! Fauji Bhai ne bola hai aise bolna usko Jo proper experienced coach hoga ! Aapki technique miljayegi
@@your_dad8977hes not making fun of him or insulting him, he literally gave advice so the guy can prevent injury. Plus hes right. If u barely make the pit, doesnt matter the length of the jump, you should move forward, cause in case something goes wrong during ur jump and u land short, u can injure yourself.
