John Allaire has been a big game player most of his life. In his younger years hockey seemed to be at the forefront but after getting a guitar at 13, priorities began to quickly shift focus for John. As a founding member of band, 'The Town Cryers', John and the band found quite a bit of success as independent musicians, charting several times and touring.
He currently averages 160 live performances a year, and still tours down to his loyal fans in US cities like Pittsburgh and New York. Some recent highs for John was performing at Birdland in Times Square Manhattan, and performing at Ottawa's Bluesfest 2024. It was only his 10th or 11th time performing at the legendary festival.
