I hope you all enjoy this short film we made back in the summer of 2023. This was my first time writing and directing dialogue for drama and while in a lot of ways this is sort of "baby's first character study", I'm immensely proud of this as a first try. It was definitely an amazing learning experience and I'm looking forward to continuing to improve my skills as a filmmaker.
SYNOPSIS
In a New Jersey beach town Jake, a ninteenish-year-old, is living alone in his family's beach house. He likes coffee, the beach, and sunsets, but one day his normal routine of sitting on the same bench is disrupted when a stranger sits next to him.
