When you’ve been grinding for 4 hours for mimics to get a titan globe for the fire gauntlet so you make an afk farm but during mid construction a random ass mimic appears and drops the titan glove you need for the fire gauntlet, and then you find a weapon a couple hours later that doesn’t benefit from the fire gauntlet but is 10 times better than your current weapon you you cry in the most bitter-sweet tears known to man. Couldn’t relate though

When you build a massive world, and then you just remembered you forgot to bring some potions or something important, and your house is across the map. Or Making an under-ground house, and realize you need to remove dirt walls.

me and my friend once fought the crimson mimic like almost 20 times for the melee weapon, we were grinding for 3 hours straight

The one with the killing of gold animals was actually solved :D you can buy an item that when in your inventory you can't hurt animals. I believe its sold by the furry.

You know, it's funny, I haven't played this game in years and I just picked it up recently again. So naturally, I didn't know what the Rod of Discord was when the second Chaos Elemental I have ever fought dropped it, but it quickly became my most used item. And now, this video taught me that it has literally a 1/500 drop rate. I feel that I have been blessed...

The most annoying thing that happened to me in terraria: I killed a voodoo demon whilst building a platform for the wall of flesh and it dropped the voodoo doll in the lava and summoned the wall of flesh

When I was a new player, the first time I used piggy bank I put my valuable gems/ores/tools inside it and lost it in a goddamn forest cave. I didn't knew your items stay in piggy bank forever and you could buy a new one so I played 2 more hours just to get those gems and ores back...

When the temple generates ON TOP OF THE UNDERGROUND JUNGLE ENTRANCE. Goodbye mage playthrough and plantera.

Getting stuck on some stupid obsidian brick when fighting wall of flesh.

A few painful moments I've had: -Me and my friend were right at the end of the Moon Lord fight, both constantly dying but making sure at least one of us was alive. I was the only one alive as my friend had died a few moments before, and I was doing my best to stay alive and I DIED. Right before he respawned, too. (And a cherry on top is that it took about an hour or so to get to fighting the Moon Lord. The Pillars gave us a lot of trouble). -Second moment was when there was a worldending glitch on the Xbox One. If I recall correctly, it was if you were on your world and then joined a friends world, it would basically swap the two worlds, while "corrupting" both to an extent. By "corrupting", I mean that a good portion of the world was just empty air. The backgrounds were still there of the different biomes, but it was just. *air*. You could fall from the surface all the way to hell with air all around you. Oh! I just remembered. I think the second painful moment was right after the first I listed. If I remember correctly, we were discouraged after not beating Moon Lord and went to my friends world. When we returned a day or two later, we realized our main world was thoroughly screwed up, and all of our progress was basically lost.
