Thank you, Allan and Co. I’ve been using The Morning Sitting for over a month daily-very healing. When I found this video I was so happy there were more exercises. These are some of the best GMs out there, for those who have ears.
I would prefer to quack like a duck, then quake like one. Though Mr. Gurdjieff did practice hypnosis and made money seeing clients. He also wrote the most important textbook on hypnosis I have ever read. Though this textbook is hidden within his novel: Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson. He made a vow on Sept. 13, 1911, to never use hypnosis on his students. Of course, he broke this vow while adhering to it because as he said in Tales, he really wrote that book to educate the subconscious. And it is filled with hypnotic language patterns. Though you have to have been practicing as a professional hypnotherapist for years to see all of this. And then only if you were trained in Ericksonian Hypnosis. Which fortunately I am. Because this moment...s can change as you read these words are used in very deliberate ways to just let go and relax your body understands how to go deeper in those certain special thoughts come and go. Until you become a quack, and quake like a duck your head.
The Digesting Air Exercise comes from "Gurdjieff's Early Talks: 1914-1931" and Mme de Salzmann's "Reality of Being". The Collected State comes from an uncensored version of "Transcripts of Paris Meetings 1938-1946". While the other three (60-Bone, 12-Joint and 10-Bone) come from one of his students, Paul Biedler. While I learned the Filling Exercise in a lineage group.
The source is on the spring of life Mr Gurdjieff tryed to bring the teaching into our today lives but it is very oractical and thats could be oroblem because first we have to give everything we learned in our lives and then to learn how to learn it needs a real teacher
