its not victim blaming, it's advice. I am 6'2" and 200 lbs, and i stay aware of my surroundings at all times. Not doing so can be an extreme disadvantage no matter the scenario. When danger of any kind presents it self you generally have seconds to react, and a couple minutes if you are lucky. One amazing firearms instructor on you tube puts it the best one. Awareness buys you time, and time buys you options.
