I see the max width is 64" for the trails. I upgraded wheels and tires on my stock 64" Can Am and now I sit around 67". I can swap back to the OEM's to ride there if needed. Just wondering how strictly this is enforced? More than willing to play by the rules but would prefer my 30" tires over my 28" ones.
@@TheCanAmCrew I’m from middleburg, we have the sunder Union county trails but rumor has it they closed them for good. I don’t really know where to go ride at
@@farmalllover8217 do you have Facebook? Send me a message and I can tell you the trails we ride. Parks and outlaw trails. Your a little over an hour east of me.
The Can Am Crew yeah there’s nothing wrong with taking a break from doing extreme trail riding. I’m definitely going to make a trip there how many miles of trails is there
Do you happen to know if their are any full size 4x4 vehicle trails in the allegheny national forest? I live near it and I’m trying to find a place to test out my new roof top tent.
Yes, it has a lot of history. The kinzua bridge was the tallest and longest of its kind in the world when it was built in the 1800s. It was taken out by a tornado in 2003 I believe it was. It’s in mount Jewett pa. Very cool to see in person.
never been to the forest, but I ride frequently at majestic trails. have been to kinzua bridge a bunch of times its only 30 minutes from majestic trails and its a pretty cool place!
@@TheCanAmCrew let me know when, we can meet up! I talk to you in IG from time to time. They have 40 miles of trails. I have a seasonal site there an am up there every few week in the summer, I’m from buffalo NY. It’s definitely not the HMT trails, but it’s a decent place for being close to us.
I don’t love far away and we ride on trails that aren’t State Park trails. I’m about 30-45min north of the Bridge still in PA but on the border and we have miles of trails which some lead to restaurants to eat.
@@TheCanAmCrew Thanks for the reply. I live in western PA as well, and ride all the trail systems you ride, but I'm currently on a dirt bike. I'm looking to get a x3 but cant decide between 64 or 72 wide. Other then here does Scott with the XRC or any one else with 72" machines have a hard time getting around anywhere? Looking for some feed back, on what you would recommend and why. Also, keep the good content coming!
@@450xxfmfxboyxx thank you, if you plan to ride a bunch of different places or even travel to ride definitely go with the 72” machine. If I could do it all over again I would give up the couple hundred miles of pa state trails to have one. We originally went with a 64 because of state trails. We ride so many places that a 72 would be better. Scott has been everywhere I’ve been with his except ANF and whiskey springs.
We just got a krx 1000 and I wanna ride these trails but the bridge you guys crossed on the timberline trail looks really narrow. Do you think the KRX would fit through ? It’s 68 inches wide.
The talon is a heavy 68 inches maybe even 69” if I remember correctly. I would say you would probably fit but it will be really tight going across their bridges. My flares on the back stick out to 71” and they fold in going across them.
@@dwightrhodes2051 they should make it 72” so all sxs’s can ride it. What bothers me is that you register and insure your 72 machines in pa and you can’t even use the state trails which is what the registration is for haha. It doesn’t make sense to me. They have to pay but can’t use it.
