This is actually really tough as these in my opinion are the two best stadiums in the NFL currently, in my opinion. US Bank, SoFi, and Allegiant all have the three best exterior designs, but Allegiant might have the coolest exterior that you would ever see for any stadium in the world because it does look like Darth Vader's helmet and it's perfect for the Raiders identity with the black giving it character. The more Allegiant ages the more iconic it will become because of that look. I do like SoFi's computer chip look on the roof as it does look super futuristic like a spaceship. Interior wise, I prefer Allegiant as it's got an old school upper deck vibe that I liked with the older domes and just overall I like the window panel with the Al Davis torch as it looks like a Raiders stadium and I like the dark feel too, although it looks whiteish and grayish in there. When you're actually at Allegiant there's a lot of sunlight that gets in there than what TV shows. SoFi looks a bit like a carbon copy of AT&T Stadium on the inside, but still very good. I do like how there's a lot of natural sunlight that comes into SoFi to make it look like they're playing outdoors as they didn't need a retractable roof with the translucent roof. Overall, I'd give the nod to Allegiant because I've been to both stadiums before and Allegiant was just cooler and had more character and I'm an old school dome person, so this is how I would love for a new Kingdome to look up in Seattle to replace Lumen Field in the next 10-20 years.
Consistent with another comment, one of the things you like most about SoFi is its biggest problem. Very hot on a sunny day. Regarding the cost difference: 1) Everything in Calif costs more, but not necessarily better, 2) FAA required expensive digging at SoFi to limit the height, being on approach to LAX, 3) Pretty sure the SoFi cost reflected building infrastructure around the stadium that was not a factor with Allegiant.
I’ve been to both and it is a close call. I am a raiders fan and I have to say the atmosphere at sofi is much better. I’ve been to football and futball aka soccer game there just because I felt more immersed even at the higher sections. Allegiances definitely looks better from exterior but the oval led board is perfect from any seat
Sofi>Allegiant. I was just in Vegas last weekend for the Raiders/Niners game, the great stadium but sofi blows it out of the water SoFi is located in Inglewood. This is a problem for anyone not carrying a concealed weapon. The Allegiant roof diffuses the light, glare, and heat much better than the SoFi roof. Vegas just put in CHILLED CUP HOLDERS for your beer. VEGAS baby! Consistent with another comment, one of the things you like most about SoFi is its biggest problem. Very hot on a sunny day. The XFL Las Vegas Vipers can have Allegiant Stadium alongside the Las Vegas Raiders Have you been inside these stadiums and experienced it? Or are you making your analysis from photos? Totally agree with you allegiant looks better but SoFi is respectable The surrounding area should also be taken into consideration. And the sources of funding. The roof of SOFI is the biggest disappointment of the stadium. It is a giant magnifying glass and amplifies the sunlight making for unbearable heat in those yearly season 1 pm kickoff games I’ve been to both and it is a close call. Allegiances definitely look better from the exterior but the oval led board is perfect from any seat Allegiant had little choice with their roof, it had to be diffuse and dimmed as the light and heat in Vegas were so strong. Also Allegiant has a natural grass field on a rolling tray which is a massive win over astro turf. Maybe this is just based on the renderings…but I’ve been to both, and SoFi is magical. Allegiant is simply cool. SoFi is on another level. Which division has the best stadiums? I think I like Allegiant more, HOWEVER, I hate the way the roof looks from the inside and the upper deck is way too large. Sorry Vegas, but Los Angeles upstaged you. SoFi and the surrounding design are badass. Meanwhile, you have to walk across a freeway bridge to access Allegiant. Allegiant looks like a Roomba. Happy to call US Bank Stadium home but both of these are also sweet! I can see you've probably never been to a Chargers game or probably ever been to Sofi in general. The talking point of " the Chargers home games are away games" is a lie. You are just repeating what you've heard but isn't fact. Funny how no one mentions the Rams and how their games are overtaken by the opposing fan base ?? uh... Love the Raider’s stadium. Natural grass, great sight lines, and easy to traverse. Huge Ram fan, but I have to give credit where credit is due. Rams, fake grass, terrible food, difficulty to walk through, acoustics are horrid, too sterile, scoreboard dominates the event and ruins the experience, extremely stuffy when warm out, and finally the most embarrassing logo and uniforms in all of the sports.2 I like the Dome at America's Center in St. Louis. Better than both of these domes. Chargers should move there and do a small renovation. I kinda don't like So Fi. It seems like there are too many unnecessary things in it that are just there to show off Allegiant Stadium looks better from the outside, like you said Death Star makes it an intimidating matter. SoFi should host USC and UCLA and should host the Rose Bowl. The Rose Bowl has outlived its usefulness Los Angeles Galaxy can have SoFi Stadium alongside the Los Angeles Chargers Los Angeles Rams can have BMO Stadium alongside Los Angeles FC Did I hear Sofi is out for the World Cup? SoFi got 6 nights of Taylor Swift and Allegiant got 2 I think. Both didn’t get their structure tested like Soldier Field and didn’t get a SwiftQuake like at Lumen Field. I don’t follow the NFL, I follow where concerts are going and stadium infrastructure. Allegiant / LV > SOFI / LA.

Every dollar of Allegiant is being paid for by visitors, none from locals. And its been a huge winner for the Nevada general fund. The Stadium is owned by the Clark County Stadium Authority, not the Raiders. Its used every weekend, not just for NFL games. And those events bring money back into the pockets of taxpayers.

Levi Stadium is in Santa Clara instead of Downtown San Francisco, my theory is the 49ers in San Jose where the MLS SJEarthquakes and NHL SJSharks are there

I'm from the STL. No way that Dome can compare to SoFi. You have to see it to believe it. They never would have built in STL. Plus the NFL have building on the campus. It was planned way before they left. Anyway, i don't begrudge Kroenke for maximizing his profits. Go Rams..................
@@harry0042 The Dome is better and one of the greatest venues ever built. It has its own convention center, is in a downtown, has it's own train station, is next to a national park and is fully climate controlled. Can you explain what makes any stadium in the NFL any better? They are all just a bunch of concrete bowls with seats. Most rankings have Green Bay number 1, how can anyone honestly look at these two stadiums and objectively state Green Bay or Kansas City etc is better?

The best experience is being able to see the game on the field with out looking at a big ass screen thats stupid. The Black Pearl hands down is perfect to watch football. Fuck sitting 6 stories up at sofi lol u can see shit
Neither. Football should be played outdoors on grass. SoFi is an abomination that shouldn't exist and allegiant should have at least had a retractable roof.
