As a performer and vocalist, there is truly nothing more spiritual that literally throwing your arms open and throwing your love to an audience who is giving it right back. If that isn't the pure work of a higher power, I don't know what is. I am incredibly lucky to do what I do and to have experienced that kind of connection. Thank you for this. Now, more than ever, it is our duty to convey love and bring about that peaceful connection with music.
MissHilPaige I think that it's the sign of a truly amazing performance. Allen, himself, stopped believing, after years of leading worship at his father's church and going to a Bible college.
If you're still around, it makes you wonder why prayer (praying) in Christianity was ever changed from facing upward to bowing/praying towards the ground (think it was during the Crusades)...

I HAVE WATCHED THIS 340 times. THIS IS THE BEST VERSION OF THIS SONG IVE EVER HEARD . The choir, pianist AND THE BOMB DRUMMER!!!! Bob is soooooooooooooooo pleased with the love and the energy this man and his team gave on this 🤩
My husband and I were at this show, and 'Is This Love' is our song.. We'd seen Allen Stone live before and knew the set would be fire. We were blown away when he brought out the choir to cover our song. So so special to us. The cherry on top is that we can still rewatch it now on YT to relive the moment. ❤❤

Actually its not. His inspiration tell you all you need to know about your statement. His growing up in the church and the style of music he experienced are what inspired him. Look at who is in the background.

Matt lol! i understand!..1st time 4 me..but i've watched/listened to the duet cover of his song, *"Unaware,"* with Dennis on the new American Idol.. *5 times* ..and on DATA!..which i normally ration to some degree these days since cancelling my home internet & phone service. 😭 it's wearing me out, too!..but that song cover is so worth it [anyone who likes Mr. Stone should check it out]..but be sure i'll be downloading it to my TubeMate for *off* DATA listening - next time i'm at one of our community's wireless services..do hope they - the singers - know about it, why it was created and hope they would not take offense...i mean, internet services are *so* expensive for us supposed 'average bears' re: income..as well as for so many others..[but then people seem to wind up being on one side of the line or the other re: beliefs about that issue...kind of like atheists and the various kinds of spiritual believers. 🤔🤔

I’m really new to Allen Stone. I feel like I’ve missed out on so much. I’ve seen great artists over the years…..Elton John, Yes, Tom Jones, simply red, kings of Leon, deep purple, led zeppelin to name a few but I feel I really missed out on this particular performance. Allen Stone’s live performances are exceptional.
I think about this show all the time. I talked my brother into going to the tent for this after seeing Allen on Live From Daryl's House. He almost went to see another band. He was very happy with his choice lol. This closer brought the house down.
This man is phenomenal I love this man voice I wish to do a song with him one day Lupus is trying take over but I put him on and it slows the pains down I thank God for him ..
this guy took me out and he played this when we were on our way back after our date... that was my first time hearing the song... well needless to say the rest is history!!!! I fell in love with him and the song the same night.
OK. I am high And I was just Watching a reaction On brain squeeze And he was reacting to the original bob marley and it just hit me right in my soul. I had never heard that version before by Bob and it hit me different and I love his original but I love Allen stone. His version is off the charts. We should give him a standing ovation honestly. I play this on a regular basis it just makes me feel good❤❤❤❤

My God!! This guy is so talented. No amount of 'singing lessons' can get someone to sing like this. You are either born with God given talent or you are not. He is truly gifted. WOW.
I have only just recently been introduced to this wonderful soulful singer and found this track a few weeks ago. His connection with the choir (and his audience) is positively mesmerizing. I keep coming back to listen to it. What a very special performer.

Allen just slayed as usual but my man on the drum kit is back there making impossibly difficult things look so easy. The rhythm with the keys, which can’t be off by one millisecond is pure perfection. Then those staggers and the crazy hi-hat work, I just keep rewinding it. That’s like a pure joy when everyone in the band including the incredible choir are all just locked in and feeling it. There’s no better feeling in the world.
I have seen this gifted talented artist In concert live and you just want it to last and not end. This is rare these days. Love him and the energy he gives.
This was the first set I saw at my first Bonnaroo. To say this set the tone for what I’d experience in the following few days is an understatement. This performance is something SO special to me. Thank you
This is when you can tell the person is a real musical artist not just a singer because when they sing live they are better than when they are recorded in the studio. There's so many people I could mention besides Allen stone Teddy swims Of course Chris Stapleton Maxwell Anthony Hamilton and of course the Tesky brothers. I mean there's so many people Jennifer Hudson Joss stone and Al Green and and Aaron Neville I could go on forever.
