I have oral allergy syndrome and I've been eating foods that I don't have an immediate reaction to for years (usually because I denature the allergens via cooking), but now new research shows that even denatured allergens in food can cause a delayed immune response. I think this explains why I've been having chronic inflammation throughout my body for years which goes away when I fast. I think the conventional wisdom to ignore skin test results if a person has no immediate reaction should be updated.
