I bet he's been fed by humans and that's why he wasn't scared, he was probably waiting on a snack 😅 That's just about the right size to worry about your cats and dogs
Jake, I remember way back when we were first introduced to you by Lester. He sent you into his old pond because he was scared and you were fearless. You haven't changed. 😂
Wow Jake that’s a pretty large alligator !! I was thinking netting would work best too. He could take a goat down easy or LJ . Be safe out there and you should have someone out there with you in case of an accident 😮.
Wouldn’t say fearless. Careless is more like it. Like letting snakes and gators back where they can get the cows and goats. Not smart but guess he’ll have to experience it to get it
Well Jake has dealt with snakes and alligators many times! He is very good at what he does but someone like you who knows nothing is really not in a position to judge!!
Wow ,he is so young has no fear yet ! He will need to be re homed to the river for sure ! We have had them come to our lake and yes its scary for our smalls but easy when not afraid of you! GOOD LUCK ,SEE YA LATER GATOR!❤
You are a brave man. Also the snake you picked up. Oh my gosh. I would be a the biggest chicken and run and run. . Love your videos. You and your wife are wonderful people. Love you 2.
Looks about the size of the juvenile we have in our pond behind the house. There is also a 9 footer who comes by occasionally. I've watched both from my patio, neither has been a nuisance so far so are being left alone but then we don't have farm animals and people don't let their pets out off leashes. Helps that the water is clear for quite a ways out into the pond so they can't sneak up on you. That murky water there would let them get too close and with your animals you won't want to take chances. Even a juvenile gator will go for smaller farm animals.
An alligator with white stripes on the tail is a young alligator. Adult gators have black stripes! They do however have big white teeth! Catch with caution!
Dang it, Jake!! A cliffhanger! I really wanted to see you capture the gator! And you plan to do with it after you catch it. I guess I'll have to wait til the next video. Have a great evening!! ❤
PawPaw has his own way of taking care of alligators, because he doesn't want his little doggies to go in the water for a swim, and get eaten by an alligator!
I am wondering if it was originally a pet that got too big or expensive to feed and dumped in the wild. Such a bad thing if so. The lack of fear of humans is bad, definitely need to deal with this quickly. It's a danger to small animals and children
That gator is at least 5 years old. There is no mother around. The fact that it shows no fear makes it very dangerous, especially if one of the kids, small dogs, or goats goes playing around by the pond and doesn't see it. It will only get more bold as it gets older. You need to get rid of that gator!!
He’s about 3/4 yrs old mom is long gone. He is hungry, must not be any fish left after the floods. Yeah he ain’t scared probably use to you guys talking and driving around. Lmao I can’t with your stash, it’s too funny.
Seems like gators are getting more and more prevalent in your area. I would NEVER let my dogs swim in the river. Mama and Daddy are out there somewhere. You can tell this one is hungry too.
