Alligator Tactical Crossbow assembly part 5 (string up the bow by yourself safely) 

There are easier ways of you have a stringer, but if not this is the easiest and safest method to do it alone.

@CrossTactics I tried, but the string came off. You make it look so easy.

@@dennisdouglas6466 just cause I have done every conceivable way so many times already. Make sure the end caps are secured all the way onto the bow

Depends on string length (they do vary slightly) of you twist it too much you shorten your power stroke so each individual will have to guage this themselves.

In my most recent assembly video I use a homemade stringer instead of the shoe string.

Make yourself a stringer out of tough rope I will upload a video about it soon

@@CrossTactics I own 3 crossbows now lol, got a great 185lb compound bow, shoots at 380fps, not cheap

@@FrostFire1987 man you got bit by the crossbow bug. I'm not personally a fan of compound bows unless you have money to buy and maintain and hunt with it. Compound bows break more than recurves and is more expensive to replace let's on so if I did hunt big game I would consider it. The old hunters adage goes "it's not about from how far you can hit your mark but how close you can get to your pray" (I may be paraphrasing lol) the biggest crossbow I have is a 180lbs recurve.

@@CrossTactics yea I can re string the basic recurves now, but if this compound bow with like 4 strings and 4 wheels breaks I'm screwed lol
