It's time "Ol' Rusty" gets some love. We use this tractor for moving wagons around the farm, as well as some other small tasks. Last fall, I could tell that problems were developing. Today I take apart the upper end of the engine. Since I don't have a crane right now, disassembly comes in a weird order.

Good to see another C being worked on. I was thinking about scrapping the C I'm working on, but my viewers have talked me out of it. I will be following your progress.

Nice videos. Glad to see details like this. I started documenting my restoration last year because of the lack of available info on the B&C. Wish this was around back when I first started researching my build. keep it up sir!

Looks like your hands know how to handle a wrench the same way Jack Reacher knows how to strip & reassemble a gun in the dark. Is / was mechanicing a trade for you? Looks like it. Question: who do you reckon watches this type of content : 1. Mechanic watchers 2. People in awe of mechanics 3. Tractor fans 4. Ex Tractor fans 5. People that haven't yet seen Puddin's Fab Shop and don't realise (yet) that sittin on their butt's won't get their projects finished... ??

Thank you! I've been a tool and die maker since I was 16. I'm not sure who is watching, but I try to make something that people who like tractors and farming will enjoy. Thanks for watching!

@@KettleMoraineMeadows That's a good trade - you know how to "make" things. Mechanics from around my time and further back knew how to make things when parts weren't available and then some time after that it has become "parts fitting". I'm impressed with Squatch making his main bearings for those pony motors. Have fun with the channel

I think it's more rewarding when a finished project has parts you made in it. Pretty soon I'll be spinning up some bearings for the main engine on my D2 project.
