Another interesting video. The Clackmannanshire Tower Trail definitely deserves to be better known.

Great video! I have been in the Alloa tower, there was a reenactment going on when I was there.

5☆. I enjoyed that.

I can't help wondering why people would write down that they found an ash sapling in a ruined building. Firstly because...well.... who cares, and secondly because I keep pulling saplings from my garden because ash seeds have those cool helicopter-like blades on them and during autumn they go *everywhere*, for miles, it's not remotely unlikely that a few hundred would land on that roof and take hold. The whole curse is so wonderfully generic that you could probably find a dozen other houses where the same thing happened. I do love the history of the tower though, just the fact that so much has happened to and around it and it's still there.
