That's pretty amazing! It really does carry the sound. Someone could easily sell those at a market. I made a homemade guitar once and because of using softwood it was terrible. lol
I loved this!!! I was playing notes on my courgette stems like panpipes but I've always wanted to know how to make a carrot flute, so thank you for sharing this! Brilliant!
LOL! :)) Remember our parents telling us not to play with our food? Now here's an exception they would have to accept :D Looking forward to seeing (and hearing) your parsnip pan pipes :))
I'll give this a go for sure. lovely mellow sound. as lads we used to use bamboo for making similar whistles / flutes. thanks again Dan you always cheer me up .
17,888 children and counting....Thanks for letting me in Dan. I've started growing and now I have winter 'can't grow anything' blues. Thanks fella! I'm sure lots of us would like to learn how you went about making your light box for starting chillies and toms. You guys who bother to post on youtube, who go about learning how to do something and also film it for us all to learn from - wow. For nothing!! I take my hat off. Love it. Thank you. Dave
Lmao Dan, I'll let our little one watch this tomorrow, she has to make a musical instrument for her school project, I am thinking she'll want to make this now.
Excellent! I may not survive my next project so I'll thank you for your friendship and tuition now. I wonder how my wife will respond to a couple of hours of this some evening? Best Wishes, Brendan.
My daughter had to make a wind instrument for class. We could never get the angled air hole and plug part right. Three carrots later, we did not get sound. What are we doing wrong? How far is the plug supposed to go in? (We ended up making pan pipes out of tiny ginseng bottles held together with duct tape and partially filled with water for the notes with a coke bottle for the bass.)
Hahaha Shit Dan that's brilliant! Made a drum kit out me mums old Tupperware tubs when i was a kid and subsequently got a good hiding for it Hahahaha :-D Nice one Dan. Takes Care, Andy.
