Hi, I was told by an alloy wheel repair company that once an alloy is buckled from the hub/centre out it can’t be repaired? It’s a TTE Lexus is200 alloy, they are increasing in value and I want to save the set of wheels what’s your recommendation? Is this correct advice
It’s probably because they don’t want anything to do with it. It can be straightened but someone who knows what they’re doing, as a piece that has been cast ultimately wants to go back to the shape that it was formed in.
