The only problem with cutting springs is that you never really know what they are and even gassing them flat still made them inconsistent. We used to do in lightening rods, and you were never on the pace. Had to go to 2 1/4 springs, which you knew the length and poundage. Hopefully, you've sorted the engine gremlins for Saturday.

On last video you had issues with cutting out down straight, did you change ticker pump, pipe and nrv before rolling road, good find for crank sensor , 🤞🤞
@@petergoodchild3505 every 12 months like a car, but when we only use it once / twice a month for racing siezed calliper sliders and stuff happens. She looks an old dog now compared to when I painted it 4 years ago but it’s sound underneath as the testers keep telling me every year 😂
I know it's a banger and going to get smashed up eventually but are people really spending that much on the suspension? I can understand the engine and protecting it but it's so easy to bend a shock or knacker a spring. If you're spending "thousands" on the running gear for a banger, you should probably be in a different formula.
