We sailed on Allure in March 2020. It was a Transatlantic from Ft Lauderdale to Barcelona. She was supposed to go to Cadiz, Spain after our disembarkation in Barcelona for the "Oasis Amplification". Covid hit right then and she sat anchored for months at Southampton before being pressed back into service, so the amplification you're referring to still hasn't happened. She Transatlantics again in February 2025, and I'm betting that's when she'll go in for the refit prior to the Mediterranean season. Personally, I wish they would just leave her without all the Abyss slides, waterparks, etc.,etc., and just freshen her up. I think RCCL is getting too "Disneylandish" with their updates. We love Allure just as she is!
Pity that you had such a Meh reaction to the Main Dining Room…we ate a decent amount of meals in the MDR on both the Ovation and especially on Oasis and found both Surprisingly very good…as a matter of fact, the MDR was actually a LOT better than each of the Specialty meals we had on Oasis (150 Central Park was Particularly disappointing and we had such a poor experience we were able to get our dining package refunded)
@@JacksonJetsetting I also am not a fan of the Bahamas. Among other things I absolutely detest the food. My wife and I went took a "dream trip" there after hearing about Bahamas since forever and it was our worst trip to date. I feel like there is general pressure for people to say they like certain tourist locations but the reality can be very different
