Always a pleasure to admire that GS! If I am ever lucky enough to own a 44, I will definitely get that strap and let them know the need to sponsor you =). On a side note, I do see value in this type of content. I looked at their website and I couldn't find any information about the company such as where they are made. It can be hard to trust a new company that seems vague, so without this sort of videos I would never give them any business. TLTR; Sponsor PWT =).

Hi Pocket I think the strap isn’t cheap but if your watch was mine I’d have bought one the moment I saw this stream as I believe someone did. The strap looks cool from the moment I saw it but when I saw the piece outside I thought it’s worth every dollar. A really lovely watch that has been made even better with the new strap. Thank you for introducing me to this excellent bracelet, I just received it!. Really quality! The blue, blue purple color suits it perfectly, much better than my other Artem, and blue cordovan shell leather from Delugs!. Only criticism, we could have quick releases to change the bracelet, and above all, that it is thicker than the original one (1.2mm).

Waiting for my strapcode bracelet for the 44GS case. Hope it fits my SLGH009. Tough choice between the the SLGH009 and SBGY009. Would probably go for the SBGY007 next time. 🙏

I have a GS SBGR307 and have been looking for a good Navy rubber strap where I can still you the original buckle. Any suggestions?

You’re looking for a strap that would incorporate the original bracelet clasp?… Similar to how a Rubber B strap uses the standard Rolex Submariner clasp? That’s a tough question. I’ve never seen another brand incorporate the use of a bracelet clasp on a rubber strap. I’m not sure if Rubber B makes non-fitted versions of that strap that would work on your 21 mm lugs. But, take a look at their website. Also… Delugs makes a rubber strap that might look good on your watch. You wouldn’t be able to use the bracelet clasp though: delugs.com/products/grey-rubber-cts-strap?variant=40111710830705

Excellent video!. I own the SBGY 009, and indeed the blue is magnificent, but we can't match many blue straps, and its original dark blue crocodile strap is far too classic!. The strap you present seems excellent and gives the SBGY 009 a "sport-chic" style!. I wanted to know what the size of your wrist was, mine is about 7 inches, for a width of 48mm, with this bracelet, isn't the SBGY 009 too present on the wrist?. Thank you for your reply. Sincerely

I’ve got good news for you… I actually have a smaller wrist. My wrist size is about 6 1/2 inches. I have no problem wearing the rubber strap… and the integration is really good and the strap flows well on my wrist. The only issue I have so far… The strap is a bit long so the original deployant buckle doesn’t work well with the strap.

Did you ever try it on the GS OEM deployant clasp? I have this as well and wanna pick up a deployant for it. By the way, the Evo9 version of this (what I have) strap is integrated and has quick release!

I was one of the first generation products. I think they’ve made some upgrades since including quick release. As for the deployant… I did use it. The problem: it works, but the length of the strap is a little too long for the current clasp and the metal portion of the deployant just sits in the wrong spot on your wrist. So it works… But not great.

Thanks for the quick reply! I may go for it anyways and teach myself an expensive lesson :) I did reach out to them about the strap and Sam from AllWrist said that it will fit. However I think his answer may not have taken into account where the clasp sits, only that it technically fits. Love it on the navy strap. I am considering a baby blue strap but that $175 price is hard to stomach for a different color!

Great looking watch you got! Looks good on you. The case looks a bit wide, could you plese measure between the lugs but from the outer side of the lugs?

Lug to lug distance was 46.2… the outside width from lug to lug is 28.1. Hope that helps.

I have this strap and would love to try it out. Does anybody have any tips for removing the bracelet from the 44GS Case? I've tried pushing the spring bars in via the lug holes and from the inside, but the bracelet doesn't budge. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Thanks.

That’s odd. I usually have a problem getting straps back onto the watch… Not the reverse. It sounds like you’re doing the proper things to get it off. Do you have the spring bar tool that looks like a large pair of tweezers that pinches from both sides at the same time? That’s what I use and I usually don’t have any issues.

You just taught me something new - no I don't have the tweezer type. I have one of those bracelet adjustment toolkits and was just using a tool tip that fit through the lug hole. I might have to get one of the tweezer kind. Thanks for responding so quickly @@PocketWatchTime

I didn’t buy the Artem branded clasp (way pricey for a clasp)… I bought a cheap Etsy knockoff ($20) - that clasp worked fine.

I’m not sure if it’s compatible. I think they only currently make models for the 44GS case. I’d contact them directly and see what they say. I also have a non-44GS watch that I’d be curious if one of their straps would fit.

Good question. I guess there’s no real “normal size“. But I think a normal size is 7 to 7 1/2 inches. Under 7 it’s hard to wear all watches (especially large models). Over 7 1/2. It’s hard to wear small watches.

"I bought the GS bracelet" - this, this right here, irritates me. Why? Because the bracelet that GS recommends for the SBGY009 does NOT fit the watch. Oh sure, you can install the bracelet, but it wasn't made for the SBGY009 so the end links do not match the case and it looks like you've simply cannibalized another watch for its bracelet (which technically, you have). The problem is, GS won't tell you that; they will happily let you think that the bracelet they're selling you goes with this watch, when it doesn't.

You and I made the same mistake. I bought the GS bracelet directly from grand seiko corporate… They said this was the right one. It fits for sure… But it has an odd wiggle that an $800 bracelet shouldn’t have. That’s why I’m currently wearing mine on the Allwrists rubber strap.
