almost all of the youtubers I've seen reacting to the trilogy have cried in some point even if you were the only one you wouldn't be weak for crying it's a tough story, it's about real grief, about something everyone can/will experience in life and that's the magic of metal, how you can express intensity, anger, feelings, brutality and a lot and a lot of stuff through music in a completely special manner that only metal does. I'm happy you're getting the point of all this madness haha really good job bro, keep it up!

You NEED to read the lyrics. Not only will it make it easy to hear what Will is singing, but this trilogy, if done in any other genre, would be considered a beautiful story. I truly love this trilogy and to this day can't hear it without tearing up. "A world without you isnt ment for me" gets me every time
@TheFlagnard2
@TheFlagnard2 7 месяцев назад
You MUST do the other two parts of the trilogy. They are incredible. Also, I highly recommend reading the lyrics. All three parts are like poetry. Think of Will's voice like another instrument. He is the best vocalist in the genre right now. Last, the video ends for two reasons. First, it is inteded to go directly in to Part 2. Second, the video, like life, ends abruptly and without warning.

Let me tell you what my Sergeant told me when I was deployed in the Corps. "There's no shame in crying if there's value in what you're crying about." We all have lost someone, we all know what that feels like and we all know we're going to face that again some day. I can think of no better reason to shed a tear than that.

Yeah, I've never been a fan of full screaming metal. Until I listened to Lorna Shore and experienced Will's talent. I was so fascinated, and moved by the emotion of the music, that I was turned. He's remembering the good times as he's watching his wife die 😢. The lyrics are sheer poetry. As for the vocals and understanding what's being said, as you listen to this type of metal your ears and brain, become acclimated and the words start to become clear.

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Every reaction to this ends with someone shouting "no" at the screen lmao. The amazing thing about this, though, is that the first handful of times you hear the song, you have no idea what he's saying, and somehow it's STILL SO emotional. I reaallly hope you do part 2 and part 3, and if you do, think about pulling up the lyrics on your phone or in another window or something. It does help to just feel the music and not worry about the lyrics in this genre for new listeners, but in the case of Lorna Shore, their lytrics add so much to the songs. Especially in the Pain Remains Trilogy. I highly reccomend having the lyrics up on another monitor, they will bring you to tears.
@kayl7260

This is my first time on your channel, but I just wanted to say I love how open-minded you were listening to something that isn't what you normally would. Now on to the song - this song had metalheads everywhere crying last year, and for me personally, I still tear up when I listen to the trilogy. When it comes to understanding lyrics, sometimes it's not necessary to understand every word, but for this song, and the trilogy as a whole, I think the lyrics add another layer to the song. If you listen to this type of music long enough, your ears get used to it and you can understand things fairly well with some singers - some are unintelligible no matter what, though. If you continue on and do parts 2&3, this video may help you. It's the entire trilogy, official videos with lyrics on screen, all as one long song ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WH3BOx1ppk4.html One last thing, the song cuts off so abruptly because song 2 picks up right there, and when you listen to the album, the songs flow seamlessly. And make sure you have tissues nearby, you may need them as 2&3 are also tear-jerkers.

So happy to see more people who don't usually listen to this kind of music find, and enjoy it. Pain Remain Trilogy is beautiful, with the lyrics it's even more tragic and heartfelt. I made the mistake of listening to this for the first time while at work, and needless to say I was a crying mess. I found a video with subtitles and showed it to my boss, who doesn't listen to deathcore, why I was crying, and she was crying too. It is beautiful!

Oh! And the whole story behind the Pain Remains Trilogy, combined with the entire album gets trippy AF. It is a conceptual album about dreaming, and what it means to control your own reality. There are some craaaazzyyy vocals. Absolutely love it

I personally would really love seeing you react to the other two parts, however please be warned of some even heavier topics being visualized in the next couple of videos. I love seeing people go through all the emotions of this masterpiece in music, especially including the surprise that this kind of heavy music can even put this range of emotions even into first time listeners. I personally have watched and listened to the pain remains trilogy countless times and nearly cry every time still. I would also recommend pulling up the lyrics to all three parts. They are poetry.

I subbed man, I really hope you can push out the rest of this trilogy. I love the way you described the way the music made you feel without knowing the words… This trilogy is an incredible piece of art even if it’s a spectacle for non-deathcore fans. I cried to this, it hits deep for anyone who’s dealt with loss in their life. I also don’t know how Will is able to adjust the tonality of his voice to give it this… like super soft but still harsh vocal tone. I’m sure it has to do with his diaphragm usage/air pressure and tongue placement in those lines to create a specific tone.

So the people who said "just feel the music" were partially right. The lyrics on this entire album are like reading a book of poetry. Meanwhile the music is absolutely on point. Do the rest of the trilogy! After youve seen all three, there is a supercut of rhe trilogy, with lyrics laid over the videos. It is well worth watching, because it will help you to understand how Will Ramos prounounces words as he is screaming. Often times metal in this genre and beyond, hit certain parts where even with lyrics in front of you its hard to understand, but with the pain remains trilogy, you will absolutely begin to here what hes saying while listening.

Metal, good metal, anyway...hits the feels so hard even before you really grasp the lyrics. After reading the lyrics, this trilogy of songs just shredded me apart, and was a source of catharsis after losing multiple people over the past few years. When they played this trilogy at the concert, I had tears streaming down my face during this song. My dad was my everything and my hero, and passed recently, and my grief poured out with this song. But I was far from the only metalhead crying in the crowd. The amount of catharsis in metal can be unreal, and even soothing

Please check out vidoes on his official YT, The Will Ramos. And the videos he has done with an amazing renowned opera singer, Elizabeth from the Charismatic voic offical YT. They do amazing things, including a scope of his throat to show what is physically happening when he does different screams. You wont be disappointed!

I'm subscribing just for the pain remains trilogy 😂 That line at the end "I finally see, a world without you isn't meant for me!" just gut checks you in the feels. It's delivered with just enough vocal fry to hold the passion and raw emotion, a feeling of barely holding back tears, while coming through clearly enough so you don't miss the words. It just invokes this feeling of powerlessness and being angry but there's no one to blame or take that anger out on and so you just scream at the world, at circumstances, at everything aimlessly because the emotion inside is boiling over. The video brings it home too because we want to fight for our loved ones, but against certain illnesses like cancer what can we really do?

I believe it to be something like catharsis, the negative emotions we feel daily, like frustration, disappointment, depression, anger, and rage. Someone wrote a musical piece that allowed me to feel these emotions in a positive manner, where I’ve hurt no one but I no longer feel pent up by the negativity. It is smooth and relaxing, and I’m at peace, I think you felt it with the solo. That emotional connection to the artist through their work.

Fantastic reaction my friend! As far as lyrics, musicality and feelings; that essentially is what a great deal of metal is. There are those of us who feel this kind of music really IS soothing to us. It calms me down when I need it to, pumps me up when I want it to, etc. Lorna Shore are INCREDIBLE musicians who know their craft better than most and are able to deliver this kind of ballad into a very harsh sounding genre. Look up the lyrics some time, or maybe even have them up as you go. Often times you might be surprised at the poeticism that goes into these lyrics. When it comes to understanding the lyrics, even for people like me who have listened to this style most their life I dont catch every word. However its like most things, do it enough and you get better at it. As a teen I moved to the south and was introduced to Bone Thugs N Harmony and couldn't understand how people could understand the lyrics, after years of listening I took Bizzy's advice and sped up my mind and fell in love with the music. I look forward to more videos, great stuff my man!

Now you got the option to go straight into Pain Remains II 😅 wegen this released we had to wait two weeks for the continuation. I absolutely LOVE this song, absolutely cried first time hearing/seeing this, and several times since. It just hits hard, and not in the way you'd expect. They play the Pain Remains Trilogy as their encore in their shows, was there last week and it was just sooooo good ❤
